Where do you work? What do you do?
Well I just got a job and joined the corporate world so I thought this would help TAs network with eachother.
Mcgraw-Hill Publishing
Online Accounts Coordinator
-basically I handled the Quality Assurance for our large corporate accounts like Barnes n Nobles, Amazon, Baker n Taylor, etc...
I work for AT&T Wireless as a lead sales rep. Need new service???......Hit me up......Ill be more than happy to hook a fellow TA up.
I work for Con Edison in the administrative field. Basically, I dispatch daily work locations to field crews and coordinate what jobs are to be layed out based on when the job is scheduled to be done.
Bose Corporation, Framingham MA.
I get to play with big speakers =)
working for a sound company really really rocks.
i have God Child playing on a prototype right now.
I basically write software to make sure that the speakers are behaving properly =)
NYC Board of Ed. i work as a teacher's aide in special ed classes. as of now, i have to make sure three 6 year old's don't crap there pants. and if they do, i have to clean it. and even if they go on the toilet, i sometimes have to wipe.

ConEd, Application Services
building applications to engineers in the field
I , uh , work at Wilson's Leather in a mall. Basically I avoid old people (they never buy anything after they waste 30 mins of your time), and put up with really bitchy people all day. Then I do all the dirty work like cleaning the floor and taking out the trash.
Needless to say I'm looking for another job if it paid more...
I have no job here. I have gone and looked around in the area and have not been hired after a lot of interviews
. When I go back to Switzerland in end of July I have to work on the wine vineyard which sucks even more.
I work on Fridays for the New York Pops Orchestra in Carnegie Hall as the administrative assistant. My main responsibilities are acknowledging donations and organizing 21 years of archives.
My other job (where I am the other 4 days of the week) is for Inventory Solutions, Inc., a company that buys and sells refurbished medical equipment. I do admin stuff there too, and I track inventory.
Neither job requires me to be on the phone more than once a day.
Oh, and sometimes I bartend private parties on the upper east side through the Columbia Bartending Agency.

Assistant Colorist for music videos, commercials, and films.
Basically everything you see on TV is color corrected to a client's needs. We manipulate colors to get a certain look. That's why the food commercials look so appetizing, in the meantime before it's corrected it doesn't look too hot.
you people have neat jobs! i make drugs. (the legal kind)

I started off at my company doing technical assistance and phone support for an electronic parts distributor for Usa, Canada and French-speaking Quebec ( french being the main reason I was hired ).
As of january I'm only on the phone 2 1/2 hours a day. WONDERFUL!
My new task is dealing with research on electronic parts, I have to find distributors, part numbers etc for special projects. It's not as complicated as it sounds, and far from being challenging.
I work for Deloitte & Touche in Philly as an Auditor. Basically the most boring of all jobs, but pays like a muthafucka.
studyin architecture...dis fall in le France/Paris..

well i am only working part time at the limited...a clothes store for women. it's aight, the discounts are nice, but i dont get paid that much.
hopefully my full time job in a few years will be a pediatric oncology nurse in either DC, baltimore, or nyc!
I work the graveyard shift for Unisys upgrading computers and servers for different companys.
I find old women in their final days and have sweet love with them in exchange for being in their will.
