Xone:02

I'm really really thinking about getting one of these. They look sweet and they are (somewhat) affordable. I want something sturdy, that I could scratch on someday if I choose to learn to do so, and something that's quality. Would it be appropriate for house/trance mixing? I know it's dubbed a "turntablism/skratch" mixer, but it looks like its pretty flexible (adjustable curves on everything, kills, etc.) Would I be better off with a PCV-275 or a SMAC 30?

it looks like a nice mixer (it actually has proper faders unlike its bigger brothers) and i like the idea of the eq faders, much like the vestax pmc-37 pro (mmmm sex).. and you are right in that it looks like a versatile mixer.

its only downfall that i can see is the fact that its a 2 channel mixer, and for me at least, the flexibility is good.

a pcv-275 would probably be the cheaper option, they are great mixers (i own one and love it to bits), but for a bit more you can get the pmc-37 pro

actually, both mixers are in the same price range. You see them both typically for $499, and I've seen them both at lower competitive prices. I don't know which one I'm leaning toward, but I've heard rave reviews about the sound quality/dependibility/sturdiness of A&H:32 and :62. I'm sure this one is no different.
As far as the 2/3 channel thing goes, I really only want 2 channels, I'm not very partial either way. and 37pros I have never seen *new* for less than $700.

ah, over here the price difference between the xone:02 and the pcv275 is about 100 (the xone:02 being the more expensive), and for about the same more than the a&h you can get the pmc37, which is a much better mixer.

if you want to scratch or cut, don't get the xone:32 or the 62, the up faders and x-faders are shite for quick action.
