Is it all too much for your average DJ?

Given the amount of music out there e.g the amount of vinyl that is released every week, do any of us, pro DJ's included (who have to sift through countless unreleased promos) have time to listen to all of it (I think Not) and therefore make the best set "currently available" week in week out, month in month out. I get my vinyl from HMV Glasgow and 23rd Precinct, but I know i'm not listening to everything that is "out there" so:

Question 1, Is there a better way to improve my scope?

Question 2, Where do you buy your vinyl from week to week?

I mostly listen to as many new live sets from progressive house to hard trance, which cover the scope of music that I prefer in the EDM genre.. This gives me the best scope for what I want to keep up on.. I know there are plenty of tunez out there that are amazing and you just gotta get lucky sometimes and stumble across them... Personally I get my new tunes from either the local record shop (which sucks, usually) or just recently ordering off of Chemical Records Online...

I am pretty happy with my collection of wax so far... cept for the hole it leaves in my wallet..

Good Luck in your search for MORE tunez...
