filesharing???
do you support/beleive in filesharing

dl for research purposes...
I want to know what I'm getting, so I first download it and then buy or don't buy.
Don't download - I'm satisfied listening to vinyls in record stores, and listening to samples from online stores.
However if I already own the vinyl then I'll keep an eye out for an mp3 too.
I generally dl and then buy but sometimes when I cant find what I'm looking for in a store or online I will dl to keep. FWIW I think filesharing is awesome. It has really exposed to me to new artists that I probably would not have heard of were it not for mp3s.
thats very true... i owe my devotion and love of EDM to filesharing. but i still only d/l for research. if i can find the cd or vinyl in the store, then i will buy it
reserching then buying
voted option 3. i'm willing to buy what i like but i just never actually buy stuff lately... first lets get decks before i buy more

yes if it wasnt for downloading me and alot of other people wouldnt have ever got into edm
^^^^ what he said
Usually, I DL CD's, and then, if I find them on sale on my music store, buy them.

| Yes - i think music should be free and F*CK THE RIAA |
Filesharing doesn't hurt music sales. How many people have a computer and know how to do it anywhow?
as far as i'm concerned, me being able to dl music has only increased the amount of music i buy
i don't think music should be free, but it should be at least a bit cheaper. i can see that happening in a couple of decades with the eventual extinction of labels, music being distributed digitally over the internet and all the cash being directed to the artist.
i do download, loads of stuff, for researching purposes... but i don't buy everything that i like, just an eventual bunch of records once in a while. it just would be insanely expensive to buy everything that i like, being a music freak
I download because then I know what I'm buying. I don't wanna buy something and then later find out I don't like the song.

How can i buy without knowing what ? Gotta do some research first_
As of earlier this year when I got my decks, the first option.
I'll be honest though, I don't buy EVERYTHING I download & keep. For the simple reason that some tunes I like but would never get any use out of them if I bought them. I only get records I can actually DJ with.
//edit - and the occasional CD album if I've heard good reviews of it
I want to make sure I get what I want when I buy something.
Without file sharing I wouldn't find out about most producers, thus I'd be unable to purchase any records from them.
#1
clearly the most convenient and reasonable
i think to many ppl earn on artist i mean so oragnization, others and thats cd or vinyls are expensive (in my country 1 vinyl = 1 day of work)
so it should be in that way
artist can promote music from music store - you can buy track for 1$
- its for free, but if you like it plz donate artist as much as you want
Thats better wy i think but who cares my idea
