The legend of zelda: a link to the past <<<<<<

Posted by Ondrayce on Jul-04-2004 10:22:

Voted for FF 3 since the NES Dragon Warrior wasn't named and since Legend of Zelda isn't an RPG.

zelda is an adventure game. there is no level building and no strategizing at all. it's an awesome awesome awesome adventure game.

btw, ff3 fo' sho!

zelda is not an rpg. it has always been classified as an adventure game.

FF2 and FF4 are the same game

Ultima 7 all the way - forget the crappy snes version, it was the pc version that kept me playing for years and I still never completed it!

Posted by TeKnoHe@d2025 on Jul-06-2004 18:33:

Chrono Trigger for sure.

Posted by Trancender on Jul-06-2004 21:24:

Chrono Trigger by far.

Posted by DeRangedMind on Jul-07-2004 00:13:

This poll is really confusing but I have yet to vote since there too many I like.

Posted by nova2wl on Jul-12-2004 03:21:

ooo 3 way tie

i would have to say Chrono trigger but secret of mana always had a soft spot in my heart

Posted by PHALPAX on Jul-12-2004 04:20:

chrono tigger gets my vote

Posted by Shamez214 on Jul-12-2004 17:17:

well, if you add ff3 and ff6 together (cause i doubt that anyone is voting for ff3 for nes), its a tie between ct and ff3/6. and where the fizuck is Star Ocean motherfcukerssssssss! that shit is fire.

Have anyone played Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals? I thought that was a very nice game, good puzzles and a decent story line.

Also, I voted for FF6 thinking thats what he meant by FF3..the one with Terra and Sabin, etc.

Theres a lot of good rpgs on this list. I would've voted for Chrono trigger second, zelda (even tho its more of an adventure than rpg) and mario rpg.

The original Final Fantasy for Nintendo, hands down.

Posted by Joost on Aug-14-2004 12:32:

I thought that this catagory would also include Baldurs Gate (I), but your going way past my time

Posted by Omegasox on Aug-15-2004 16:24:

FF3/6 by far. Chrono Trigger and SoM were great as well, tho.

Posted by Plastick on Aug-15-2004 17:33:

Didnt really touch the RPGs during old school days... ff7 was my first 'serious' RPG. I'll vote for BOF!

Posted by Porky on Aug-16-2004 07:10:

voted for ff3 for snes
then realized after i voted that ff6 (us ff3) was on it

my god, ff3 was fucking hard! not like the recent ff's where they let you play the game w/o dying

I second this. Amazing game that spawned a franchise.

Posted by nrjizer on Aug-17-2004 14:52:

Chrono Trigger of course. BoF 2 was a classic (and damn hard too... I can't beleive I beat it when I was 9 or 10)
