underage clubs in the midwest
im 16 and I want to go clubbing more than ANYTHING, especially after the oakey show at summerfest. I live in wisconsin and the only place i know to go clubbin at 16 is brooklyns in appleton. unfortunately the only electronic music they play is house. everything else is top 40 and RB. I know pure in milwuakee is open to people 17 and up. since im turning 17 in like a month, i was hoping there were more options that just those two places. Anywhere in the midwest would be good.
Also... i heard an ad on the radio a few months back for a place in milwaukee called level 3 or something. i know there is a place called 3 but this place was for underage people too. cant find any info on it. any help would be GREATLY appreciated...
Cage i guess is a new club opening up that has a teen night (17+). i just saw an ad in the Shepherd for it today. i'm not sure what kind of music they play though. Pure also had teen night on thurs and sat nights, not sure if that's still going on or what. i don't know if i'd really call teen nights "clubbing", cause i'd imagine them to be pretty fuckin lame.
seriously, if you want to hear good trance music in the midwest, you have to go to Chicago (and really that's only when they bring in the bigger name DJs - Armin, PVD, etc - and that's almost always at 21+ places). Milwaukee is very hip-hop/house oriented.
the only other thing i can think of is when they bring DJs to The Rave, which is an all-ages venue. PVD was there a few months ago... but its a rare occasion that they bring in any form of electronic music.
i haven't heard anything about a Level 3. and Three is a 21+ club.
it's a shame Summerfest doesn't have DJs every day.
no kidding....
my guess is it is probably lame for that age. i figure i will just check it out, but still. and yeah, you're right about milwaukee being really hiphop and house. definately not too much trance
PVD & T[]C - I understand what you're saying. I want to get to Chicago once I turn 21 and maybe hit up Club Visionz sometime to enjoy the night away.
By the way, I noticed it said you live in Beaver Dam, WI. I lived in BD for about 12 years, and I myself am currently 16. I moved to near Madison in 8th grade... you should PM me, we possibly know each other and don't even realize it. :/
i know your pain, i turn 18 in mid august and i'm dyin here
you need to move out of the USA. i've lived outside the states my whole life, and came back only for uni - i need to get out. this place is my nightmare sometimes. i'm visiting my sister in waukesha WI, and damn. what a dead country.

| Originally posted by FellatedOne Cage is Le Cage with a new theme and a facelift. As Le Cage it was an alternative lifestyle club, so it will be interesting to see what the changes are going to do to their clientele. |

except when you hear "i know this crazy chick from milwaukee who likes trance." |
yeh i know how you feel m8, i'm only 15 and the only places around here are those stupid teen-clubs that play hiphop all the time (which isn't horrible, but if i wanna hear hiphop i can play it myself)
