I doubt that Paul Oakenfold or Paul Van Dyk mixed this set, but Oakey used to play a remix of the Star Wars theme called

Skip Raiders - "Come Back To Me"

As far as I know Paul Oakenfold got the only copy and it was never released since they didn't get the permission to use this sample and the Skip Raiders are no longer working together.

lol, neither mixed that set, they have both played shit tunes at times but nothing that shitty.

Yes, I doubt it too, that's why I ask for you more experienced trancers if you get a clue what mix it is.

makes some clips of the songs if you want them identified so badly and looking by the tracklist, it would not be that hard.

When searched with WinMX from other users it gives "Fergie Max" and "Moby" in the filename, too. There's also "DGMC trance nrg" in the comment field in ID3v1. This is a mystery really.

Mainly I don't care too much about the tracks to be identified rather than the whole mix.

Would be interested to hear a clip of the Star Wars thingy. DV had a tune around that time called The Imperial March which was the theme from The Empire Strikes Back. The Maxi Mix was kinda technoish.

I've been doing some homework on this dgmc nrg 2001 enigma. It appears that there are two slightly different versions of the mix. Mine is over 75 minutes long. Here is the track listing as I have discovered it so far.

Thanks for the track list. Sounds like someone mixed it and never left his identity. Probably some pimple faced teenager messing with his Virtual DJ software. I have always wondered where this came from. I originally downloaded it from KaZaa around 2002, and my version is about 1:20:22 long. And it sounds realy good at the original 98kbps I downloaded it at, believe it or not. In retrospect,I am glad I was not as knowledgeable back then as I am now. I would not even look at something less then 192kbps now.
