I just got back, I didnt feel like staying for Paul Van Dyk.
Short: Markus & Acosta were great, especially Acosta.
Im dirty from the sand and shit, but it was worth it.
Also I caught a Vinyl OCEANLAB - SATELLITE (signed by Markus), AND I CAUGHT A PROMO FROM ACOSTA,
I was dancing all the time

damn i want to hear more about this. i missed out on it. didnt have a car. first time ive missed their 4th of july show.
Ok
I left home abou 1:30
On the way to the park. The weather was soooo bad. It was raining for 10minutes but I couldnt see shit through the windshield. In the coconut grove the weather was much better.
I parked next to the peacock park for $5. Then I went by the stage.
When I was by the stage I realized that I dont have a sunscreen on me, so sun burned me a "little" bit, also 3 days before I made the same mistake, I didnt put any sunscreen when I went to the beach :/, anyway....
I stood there for a while, some dj was spinning some oldies (80s), after a while, some pop group came out with a guy that look like Justin Timberlake. He performed for like 15 people 
Then I went for a while to see a bed race. It was about 3:00, When suddenly I heard beats around 140bpm I knew It is time to go to the stage. I was right Markus was warming up, for a while I Couldnt feel the music, but about 8minutes later I was in the right mood, to go crazy.
Then I saw a guy with OMFG I DIE shirt with a girl and camera man. They were standing by the left side of the stage, I was in the center. I tried to say Hi (twice at the beginning), but apparently the music was too loud and you couldnt hear me. I came closer (like 10ft away from OMFG I DIE, and I said Bling from tranceaddict? But you couldnt hear me. Thats my story with FLTAs from that party.
The markus was putting right tracks. I was all the time in the center.
You could see that he was enjoying what he was doing, he was smiling and stuff like that.
btw. I think The guy by the fence was on "E" because he was sooo hyper all the time he was going crazy.
Ok when Markus was finishing his first set. He or that little kid, or that girl from 93.1 started throwing stuff to the crowd.
I said to myself I have to grab something, It was my mission.
I saw two vinyls comming straight to me. I jumped as high as I could and grabbed two of them (btw He only threw 2 vinyls) but one vinyl slipped from my hand, and I lost it(it was Markus - Revolution) the other one I got it.
Then Motorcycle came out (only that girl)
People started moving more than before.
Then I think some guy came out, then Markus again.
And then Acosta.
According to Acosta. His set was superb. I was going crazy, I was dancing and stuff like that, and I didnt care that I dont know how to dance, I just danced how I could. He threw amazing hard set.
When he dropped some Picotto track at the end (I think iguana)
My body started trembling (in a good way) my heart synchronized with the beats, and I went nuts
I had a such a great feeling during this track, this track brought back such wondervull memories and a good time that I had in my coutry. I just forgot everyting and fuuuuuckk i cant explain that feeling. My heart synchronized with the beat and i was having such a great feeling. It was a great experience. His set blew me away. btw. I also caught the last cd that was thrown some promo named Lost world.
I was sooo tired after his set that I knew I will not handle PVD. When Acosta finished his set. He did a live perormance with some guy, but I couldnt stand him, He was acting like he was a highlight of the night WTF?????

And one girl over there in the orange, she was soooooo hot, and she danced like a pro, she was smiling, I think she was a true trance lover. If I wasnt looking like crap I would talk to her, but since I looked like crap, with all that dirt, my chances were close to 0.
The channel 7 was filming his performance and that guy had to shout, whats up mothafucka WTF was that?????
I knew that they will perform, and after them there will be PVD, so I went back to my home, b/c i was too tired.
ok now my observations and thoughts and others.
I got sooooooooooooooooooooooo dirty from that sand, my white tshirt is black, my legs got black, and my face too. I looked like a shit, but I didnt care, until I was heading back to my car, people looked at me and probably they were saying WTF had happened to that "kid" he looks like some homeless guy LOL, but I didnt care
But you know what I noticed FLTAs were not dancing at all? I looked at them few times and they were just moving their heads. I noticed only once that they moved more. But that girl that was with them she was moving more, she was actually dancing. Obviously camera man couldnt dance as he wanted, but the rest ? Maybe I just didnt see, or they were warming up.
I saw Arturo on the back stage with tshirt Vandit.
I think I had more fun than 93.1 party that at ultra, BUT at ultra I was with like 20 people, and here I was with one, so I dont know,
both parties were great
I want to say thanks to Markus for a VInyl
Markus was great, Acosta was pretty good but his set had as many "fake endings" as Return of the King...kept on fading out, made you think "ok, now he's done..." got confusing.
I went out to dinner for some reason before acosta ended so I missed Motorcycle. I can't believe I didn't get to see G&D for the first time...bad group, they wanted to go; w/e. Van dyk was great, played all the classics...not too many new tracks...Fireworks show was amazing.
The only bad part was, until 7, the sun, and for the whole night, the massive dust cloud. Reminded me of the Dust Bowl in the '30s, yessiree. My boogers are going to be black with dirt for the next week

was PVD set like his others (I mean his standard set that he does over the past few moths?)
did I miss a lot by not seeing PVD?
I had a freaking great time!!!.. Van DYk Killed meee!!! .. and Acosta playing Mauro Picotto - Iguana.. was the worth seen part of his set heh.. More afterwards, I must head out to NV

I stayed for his whole set, HE'S MY FAVORITE DJ IN THE WORLD FOR A REASON, and he showed it tonight, OH MY FUCKIN GOD. I recorded his whole set except for like 1 minute since I was sswitching tapes. NMy full review to come soon, but dwell on these words:

OMFG I DIEDDDDDDDD......... and not in a good way..... i feel like a complete POS. I have never in my clubbing life felt like i do now. That dirt was horrific I am coughing up my lungs as i speak. the dirt is up my nose, my ears and god knows what other orifices. 
What sucks is i got my NV Afterhours pass right when i walked in..... Hell no i cant go to that...... I am not as young as i used to be ....
I got there very early and went to go eat some pizza. thats when Raul and amber meet me . we pretty much hung out all day and nite. thanks for being my party buddies u two 
So we are hanging around and we decide to hit a piercing shop. so ambs gets a new belly ring put on of a star very nice. im sure her dad wont mind. heh...... so i decide to get a pic of her in the chair getting it put on.. (to be posted... )
Afterwards, we walk to Raul's car to get my TA vol 4 and we hear Sahara. Raul is like OMFG. so we run over and markus is on at 3 pm....... early like Heather said on the board.

Very good set. pretty empty at this point still but markus threw down the classic markus tracks..... it was awesome.

They didnt have a really long set but it was still nice. First time i ever saw Murk spin together .
Little break here and they start to give out free shirts. So funny cuz buster SCREAMS "PARTYYYYYY 931 AMERICAS PURE DANCE CHANNEL" AND he throws a shirt with all his strength but it unraveled and fell to the floor like a foot in front LOL. (we love ya bro)

Never seen him before and i must say it was pretty damn good. very high energy stuff. surprised that he played a markus track .. good stuff

I wasnt too hyped goin in but damn he was really good. i was very impressed he blew away MOtorcycle IMHO.... great stuff.
ARound this time ( i may be confused... Buster comes out and says no ATB cuz he got sick coming to Miami... ). Myself and the TA's just looked at each other cuz it was ironic.... considering the stuff ive heard...Hope u get better soon ATB

what a set. not many vocals but just banging stuff to some old skool pvd with a twist. He had me dancing my ass off. He even played Traffic. i think he played Crush, and he played Beautiful Place but a sick remix ( OMFG amazing) then i lost my ever loving mind when he played born slippy from underworld. omfgggggggggggggggg myself and jessica were goin nuts... then his remix of mindcircus.. oh shittttttttt. (lets just say i really want this set ) whoever recorded it online HOOK ME UP !!!!
PVD had more energy then i ever saw him he was messing with the insane crowd and even grabbed a camera and started to film us. he was having a blast and the crowd was eating it up
At this point I had to leave the front and i hung with Jeskot (jessica) had fun dancing with u and watchin u with the sticks there "

amazing stuff. better than last years stuff. loved it
just want to shoutout to Patrick, manny, miriam, feli, felipe, tranceman and his wife,arturo, harold, fallingmoon,happykandy(melissa) smartest girl there with the cloth over her face. im suffering so bad now cuz i didnt. (no voice), JP and Stan. and every other TA that was there. GOOD TO see also grooveric. (really cool that they were using ur cdj's i would have had paul sign the side of my cdjs if i were u . LOL but then again im a dj whore
Trip home..
horrendous traffic it took 1 hr and 20 min to leave the damn grove... ugh..............
Party 931 crew. u definitly need to move this event. its getetin too big for the grove. why not bayfront? ( i know there are issues and stuff with downtown but the grove is too small ;( )

And at long last, DarkAngel's review.
Got to the grove early with Ambs, Bling was at the pizzeria where I planned to park. Had lunch with him and Ambs there. Expensive. And yes, as Bling posted, Ambs wanted to go piercing shopping so we went to do that, then to the store for some Red Bull, then back to my car, when I heard Solid Globe - Sahara (ORIGINAL) playing. I flipped out, and it was Markus opening the show.
After him, came Motorcyle, which was so so...Nothing so great, but I got her on tape, as well as Markus. Thn some red-headed new 93.1 mixologist came on, and Markus came on after him. MURK came on and I turned around, had no interst in them whatsoever.
Acosta came on, and me and JP were ragging on him the whole time, making up every degreading joke in the book that we could think of. Acosta surprised us by playing Adagio for Strings, then Iguana, as well as Love COmes Again. The most hilarious thing was when Jon Secada came out...."Everybody bounce!" "I can't fuckin' hear you!" It was hilarious, I taped that as well.
Edgar V came on, but only played a few songs, which wasn't cool becuz Mr. V throws down great sets like last night at Release in West Palm Beach. his closing song was White Room, and Ambs went nuts, and I recorded a lil bit of her going nuts. 
And then....the moment of truth. MY #1 Favorite DJ in the fuckin' world, Paul van Dyk. His set was SICK. I FUCKIN' LOVED it. OMG. He played so many great tracks, and when he played Underworld - Born Slippy (PvD remix) me, Stan and JP went insane. I had listened and recorded PvD's set from Sensation last night. This set was similar, but more energertic, and soooo GODDAMN GOOD. He closed with Nothing But You, and then, OMG. His encore song....Way Out West - Mindcircus (? remix) I FLIPPED. I never heard that mix in my life, but it was UNREAL. Ambs was gone by that time 
But it's on videotape, so she'll see it soon. 
Ambs: As always, it's nice to have a TA that lives so close. I hope you had fun, despite us both being suffocated by that fuckin' dirt.
Bling: Good to see ya, I hope you recover, you sounded terrible on the phone. Enjoy your TATV Volume 4.

I didn't go to Envy tonight, even though I bought a ticket becuz qute frankly, I was a filthy fuckin' mess and I am dead tired. 15 dollars gone, but I DON'T care. TATV volume 5 is my ultimate consolation prize.

damn. i cant believe pvd played beautiful place. that is one of my all time favs. and he played born slippy. shit sounds like he played a tight set with some old school tracks. hopefully someone can get this set in mp3 so everyone who wasnt there for the "dirt clud" can enjoy the set.

I get there at a little bit before 7pm with a friend. I come in and get the last track from George Acosta.. HOLY SHIT, IT'S the new DUMONDE track "COLD" (Talls 2XLC remix). IT IS DAMN GOOD!!!
I was going insane, this is my place for the 4th of july. Then that Secada guy goes on, that just stunk. He lipped sang and, well he stinks.
Then Edgar V went on, I see Arturo and him with Vandit shirts, AWSOME He only played 3 tracks.. and what's the deal with everyone going crazy about White room..? I don't see it. I'll have to say Edgar disappointed me, sorta numbing tracks, I don't know what the deal was.
Then came on PVD. HOLY MOTHA FUKIN SHIT. AMAZING. a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Did he play tiesto's track? AND DID HE PLAY COSMIC GATE - BILINGUAL?! HOLY SHIT. Out of all the tracks that night, the cosmic gate track made everyone go crazy as hell.
"Vamos a jugares del sol.. blah blah de fiesta..." I don't know spanish, but I think i got that classic vocal line down. PVD loves throwing down that track!
Fireworks were awsome too, tad bit short though.

I kept on telling my friend at the event "Welcome to LA"... the whole dirt thing reminded me of LA, if you know what I mean... Smog City

Oh yeah, I don't think anybody mentioned this yet...
Right when I got there at 4PM on the dot I think, I saw this ~70 year old 5ft tall Asian guy dancing with this 20 year old chick...seriously, that old guy had some moves. Funniest thing ever, and I'm not insulting the guy when I say that...I'm glad to see people of all ages having fun at these events. I hope I can dance like that with girls like that when I'm his age.
Does anybody know if these sets were recorded? Wasn't Acosta's set broadcast on 93.1?
OK, I'm checking some video now (can't sleep) and another song Markus played which was a very welcome song was BT & Sasha - Remember Magnetic North.

Great time...nice sets for the most part... a little disappointed in PVDs set...maybe it was just where i was standing/outdoor sound system but it was a little too banging and lacking in any melody (from what i could hear at least)... anyway still worth the trip and probably as much fun as ultra almost... heh sorry for the slight incoherence but i've had a long day (drove to miami from daytona beach this morning w/ very little sleep and then partied drank/whatever all day and then drove 4 hours back)
im so sick. i lost my voice my boogers are black and still gaspin for air. though not as much and eyes bloodshot........ and ears clogged from that dust... kill me
