-Brand New Trance Mix- From Eric Foard

Ok people hear you go. It�s not as long as my usual mixes but it is an hour long. The transitions from song to song are very clean, could be some of my best work. Not sure too early to tell. I put the mix together on July 4th and recorded it on July 5th. Today July 6th the mix is up on the web at my site and available for download. This mix is very Melodic and Epic. Almost sleepy Trance IMO, if that�s not your cup of tea then don�t say I didn�t warn you.

Couple of comments on the tracks

Blank and Jones � Perfect Silence, Awesome Track � I just got it last week on Wednesday pretty sure it�s brand spanking new. Just so happens to be my favorite Trance tune right now. Great Track, so great I named this mix after it. Hence �Perfect Silence.�

Motorcycle � As The Rush Comes � Ok so this song seemed to go to the top really fast last year in 2003, but then again it wasn�t long until everybody seemed to dislike it and/or make fun of it. Guess that�s what happens after a song gets too big. Well anyways I heard this song finally for the first time in January or February 2004 when I picked it up. I like it and I can see why it became such a giant success. Hopefully I don�t get too much crap for using this song from the �As the Flush Comes� haters.

Yet that goes to show, I knew I needed to say something about that song. ATRC. That�s cool that you�re going to check it out anyways, even if you hate that song. I knew there�s a lot of cross vibes from that song so, I tried to make it easy on my self so I didn�t have to hear the complainers.

Right on good luck. I have dial up at my house and that�s what I used last night to upload the mix. 6 and � hours. Don�t worry I had a friend check it out who has DSL and he said the mix sounds good and complete. So I have faith that everything worked out ok.

Hello there..

Only discovered the site a few days ago,first post on TA so here goes..

I have d/loaded a few mixes over the weekend, and I have been hugely impressed with them all! Eric yours is a really smooth floaty mix, and I LOVE that Perfect Silence track, bet it goes down strong in a club..

I am purely a punter, ain't no DJ, but I adore my trance.

I bloody love this site already!

Really glad you enjoyed the mix. Yea, I wouldn�t be surprised if �Perfect Silence� the song ends up being one of the best Trance songs this year. Up in the club would be very nice to hear too.

Very good set eric,

very good track selection and programming, in my opinion, your tracks flow together very well. I do dislike ATRC after hearing it so many times, but ive fallen in love with the tune after A & B remixed it, there remix is truly brilliant .

Mixing was almost perfect every time, great on that.

Timing was perfect in my opinion aswell, fading at the right time.

overall i give this set 9/10 *KICK ASS*

the only negative i saw on your set was you got slightly off in a few of your transistions, you immediatly pushed it back on beat very quickly.

I loved it.

Look forward to hearing more from you eric.

The one that�s more noticeable to me is the mix going into Ronski Speed � E.O.S. I almost stopped the recording at that point. But then I said, why not. I�ll finish the mix and see how it turned out. After I heard it, I considered it Eric Foard approved.

Over the past couple of years I�ve really been working hard on throwing in the mix live. I think if done right, it sounds awesome and technical. But as you were able to tell form my mix, throwing it in live and perfect every time is not that easy of a task.

Thanks for the review, you definitely have a good ear for music and mixing.

After listening to this mix over the past week I gave it an Eric Foard 8 out of 10. So for you to say it�s a 9 makes me that much happier.

FYI, my No Wonder mix that I recorded over a year and a half ago I considerate an 8.5 or maybe 9. It�s NRG/Hard Trance and some Hard House but the mixes are just a bit cleaner as a whole compared to �Perfect Silence�. IMO �Perfect Silence� is my second best mix to date, when it comes to clean mixing.

Again thanks for your ears, glad you enjoyed it.
