Yamaha`s CS6x is really a great synth... hope you`ll enjoy it... and I recommend TRITON as well...

I'd get a virtual analog one. For example a Anccess Virus, Novation Supernova or perhaps a Waldorf synth. I use a Novation Nova which I am VERY happy with, especially with the new OS.

yeah, i was looking at the supernova II awesome synth, might get that later on, because as of now i would like to be able to produce a more diverse array of music styles which i think the cs6 is good for

also im looking at a Roland XV-3080 .. awesome rack unit!
