Sandstorm isn't one of the best tracks but it doesn't suck either. I've had it as my ring-tone for the past two years.

There was a trepichord remix or something which i thought wasn't bad...then again, around the time i heard sandstorm, lots of tracey dare i say it cheezy tracks were being hammered in clubs. I'll confess, i did enjoy a majority of them.

LMAO!!! Was it an image of me hugging the big speaker in KH?

I like the sandstorm ringtone because it's unique. If you know any good sites to download free trance/prog ringtones send it my way and I'll change it.

the track brings back painful memories.

Ya i have it downloaded on my phone too, believe it or not, i have Blue as the my ringtone!!! heheheh!

Thats soo funny today i was listening to an old cd my friend made me
a long time ago, and it was on there, and i still bobbed my head around to it...guilty!

Posted by LKD on Jul-09-2004 00:29:

1.5 years before it came out here, i said it would be a hit and..well it was...

i loved the song before it became popular and i dont think id eer hate it for that fact

Posted by DVD2004 on Jul-09-2004 02:18:

I can say I used to really like it, however with that said, I haven't heard it in like four years.

Posted by rabbitjoker on Jul-09-2004 02:20:

Why? You trying to sell the wax? I'll buy the wax off you...

Sandstorm was a good tune.. I prefered "Out of Control" however. I even went as far as buying his artist album on CD.

Posted by ChadVanDyk on Jul-09-2004 02:52:

I loved it once....Paul Van Dyk - Live @ Home, London (04-23-00)

From PvD's playlist to a Jock Jams comp..what a spiralling demise. On another note, I wonder how much he made off that track. Major $$$$ I bet.

Was an early favorite, now naranja has replaced it.

Posted by Elmo-On-XTC on Jul-09-2004 03:43:

I liked it. it's not that bad of a track. overplayed but not that bad

Posted by BTG on Jul-09-2004 04:55:

thats the song that got me into searching for more, better electronic stuff.

sad to say, but true. :/

Posted by MarkT on Jul-09-2004 06:41:

It had it's moment...I think it's a great track...but got tired really quick thanks to being overplayed to death. Of course most people who liked it and now hate it, do so just because it became popular, which is pretty lame.

I remember it specifically from a party my friends threw at Big Bop/Reverb 4-5 years ago and their techno-ish headliner dropped it.

I made a friend come...a non-EDM fan...it was his frist party and first time doing e...he *hated* the music (techno in one room, jungle in the other) until the e hit...then Darude came on and he went nuts, hahahaha
