Fruity Loops Studio 4 Producer Edition Question
Fruity Loops Studio 4 Producer Edition (Retail)
Um yeah... I don't produce and I've never tried to. However, i got this program some time ago and I cannot see any of the writing that labels the samples that you put on the SS board. Is there a way to fix this?

mess with your color options maybe? when u click the buttons can u see the name in the wondow pop up? Im thinking the names are showing up in the same color. You caould also try that shourtcut fruity puts into yer start menu that resets the options back to the default, that usualy fixes anything that messes up with settings.

Tnx. Shortcut thing worked.
Now I got some questions dudes. I know how to use this application, however, where can i get good generators, sounds, and soundfonts. I mean I actually went out and bought the app. It cost me 25$ because its not the latest version. Do I have to buy the good instruments too or what? I know some of you might suggest Reason over FL. However, even though I know how to use FL in its basics, I'm a newbie when it comes to production.

Okay. I've downloaded some of these VST plugins. I have placed them in the VST directory. Now, how do I open these up within FL?
ok catch you now
go to "channels>add one>more..>refresh
tehn u'll see the vst as long as they're
in the fl>plugins>vst folder

U can also specify another folder for VST plugins. Just go on Options -> File Settings.
Its usually on folder ProgramFiles/Steinberg/Vstplugins.
Nice to keep things organized and out of the FL folder.
Also, just to state so it dun happens again, what gave u that problem is the option "auto-name channels", u probably had it off.
