Best coffeeshops/weed in Holland?

A year ago I went to Amsterdam to visit my aunt. She showed me around town and of course a connoisseur like myself wasn't going to pass up the coffeeshops. I visited every single one I could. My friend went back a few months ago and updated me. While just about every single coffeshop had Jamaican, Thai, Orange, and White Widow...some coffeshops had premium varieties. Here's my comprehensive list of best Amsterdam coffeshops with notable premium varieties from each one. Can't wait to go back!

Chocolata- Choco Mist (chocolaty!)
Dutch Flowers (great social atmosphere)� Dutch Flowers (best orange bud)
De Rokerij (best overall shop, nice Indian styling) - Stardust, White Russian
Grey Area(ultimate pothead coffeshop) - Grey Mist (both grass and Nederhash crystals). Bubblegum(nice flavor), AK-47, Yellow Cab
Green House(exclusive coffeshop, elegant) - Super Silver Haze(very strong), White Widow
Siberie(good weed at cheap prices) - Siberian Tiger (White Widow+AK-47)
The Noon(great bongs, best munchies) - Blueberry (best flavor)
Yazoo - White Smurf (VERY good bud)

and i wonder why i got a reputation for bein a drug monster... ah well weed is good, nothing slips down as nice as a good joint or 10 after a long nite out on the lil round ones (unless u r a ket head...) but yeah.. i suppose it would lose its thrill factor if it was legal... but not for me, cuz i prefer getting stoned to getting drunk. drink just makes u act a twat, stagger about and then vomit... and u regret it the day after.. weed makes u stoned, hungry, and easily amused.. then a nice long sleep with no headache the day after

In my city there is a coffeshop wwith the name Green Spirit.
Stupid I live in a country where you can buy this stuff without risks and I never tried it.

I wish weed was legal. Sure, things would be different as a result, but if alcohol is legal, then bud definitely should be as well.

Thanks for the info excite...and mindshooter....he was just giving us some info that's all. I'm sure if someone was going to be visiting over there this information would be very useful.

Don't ever forget the Northernlight Haze!!!!!! Together with White Widow it used to be my fave

One of my friends went to holland and supposidly came back with some bud from there.

I dont know if he was telling the truth or not but if he really did get it from holland then I would have to say it was some of the best bud ive ever smoked

I just re-read the list and i remember that the kind he had was bubblegum it was very good

If you ever visit Holland, then also go to Sarasani in Utrecht. It's the oldest coffeeshop in Holland. It's like a hippie-cave, very dark, many blacklight-paintings on the wall and the ceiling, and most of the time you get more than you pay for. And ofcourse, the coffe is free...
In Utrecht you have also a coffeeshop-boat and the weedtax: delivery weed for those who are too lazy to go to a coffeeshop

oohhh!... haha i never smoke down here in panama, the weed isnt the best, but in holland i did enough of it... what good weed. oh well=/

Agreed 100%, I used to drink like a fish some years ago and changed it for weed. I specially love the part when you get hungry, it's so nice!!!

Hehe, the part I mostly enjoy is when I got very sleepy and I finally make it to my bed! I turn on the tv and while watching tv I sloooowly fall asleep. Great!!

If you ever get to visit Delft (ahum.. ) go to "The Future", that's the one I mostly spend my time in!

Northern lights is pretty old, its the good stuff from 8 years ago... White Widow was the first weed I smoked in Amsterdam. Let's just say I didn't know what skunk weed was until I smelled White Widow. Though, I can't quite say I like the smelll...it was the strongest smelling weed ever, not to mention the stickiest. If you like skunk weed, try Super Silver Haze.

i went to the Green House last year, and your right, that Super Silver Haze shit is fuckin strong, i spent the entire week walking around town with major glue brain. i went over there with the intention of doing sum filming for a college project, so u can imagine how that one turned out, hehehehehe. but the most fun thing about amsterdam are the mushrooms...looking back on it i cant belive i got an A for my Video.

I have only one advice for u american blokes n gals,
if u ever have the chance of getting some K2, u be a happy smoker.

When I was there a year ago 2 grams of the normal stuff cost 25 Guilders while 1.6-1.8 grams of the premium stuff cost the same. They usually sell you whole sinsemilla buds too!

Sinsemilla=female, no seeds...LOTS of THC

DO NOT smoke joints. They're a hassle to roll and if you buy 'em pre-rolled they put tobacco in it. They're also a waste of weed and you can't taste the weed as well, which is important.
Buy a pipe. Depending on what you want, they can cost anwhere from a few dollars to hundreds of dollars. Make sure the bowl is not too big or too small. Many cofffeshops have bongs available for you to use as long as you're there. Definetely do that, bongs hit the hardest. Tell the employees what you like and ask for a recommendation. As long as you're not stumbling around like a fool police don't give a shit. It is however polite and respectable to keep the smoking private, in the coffeshops. When I was there I'd see locals walking around smoking joints in plain public view. That's another thing I love about Holland, the Dutch respect individual freedom as long as you're not hurting anyone else. America is supposed to be the land of freedom yet if I want to buy weed I have to go out of my way to find a illegal drug dealer then pay him ridiculous amounts for the shittiest weed. Good weed is even harder to find, and a lot more expensive. Usually around $80 for just 4 grams. And our good weed doesn't even compare to what ya'll have there! Not to mention if I get caught I'd be thrown in jail and forced to serve a year probation and pay insane court costs. But I still I love weed....

I can't believe the French people come up to you and ask you where the coffeeshop is in French. They get pissed at us Americans when we walk up to them and speak English.
