[Prog/Trance] Neotune - Eleventh --- Full, 192 kbps

Hi folks,

Made this track today, since the weather sucks and there's nothing to do but watching some sports and doing some Fruity Loops. Nothing special for today. That's why I decided to name this track after today's day, the eleventh.

I think it's proggy trance. Satisfied with the result, cause I didn't spend that much time on it. Please have a listen and post what you think. Thanks a million!

Very nice tune!
Really loved that solid beat you got going here, though the bassline could use some more work. I mean it sounds great as it is now but it could sound even better with another bassy layer on top.
The buildup is really awesome, loved the synth you used there. And when the beat kicks in it really sounds good.

Overall, I really loved the sounds you used in here. Everything is just spot on, and fits in perfectly. Great production!

Hey guys, thanks for the positive comments!

This track was intended slower, not as a banging trancer, just a listener

Another bassline, hmm how much bass you want DJ-Kreing?

really good tune, very relaxing and chill, i listened it in low level but all sounds sound very pro , keep up with good work

Nicely produced, especially if just done in a few hours, today!

Posted by Massive84 on Jul-11-2004 22:25:

good production Jay.

Kick needs a bit of low, but don't make it pound alot, don't think thats your intention, but it souds so flat.

perc is really nice.

bass is nice also.

thats it .

Excellent tune mate, don't tell me you did that in just one day!

Apart from the kick drum, which was mentioned, I think every element is spot on.

Really cool synth sounds!

It seems that the kick is the worst part of every track I make Oh well, will work on that!

I think I did this in 6 or 7 hours in total, all in 1 same day (the eleventh of July

as i said the other day dude, the only thing im not a fan of is the kick. but thats just personal taste, and i think it does suit the track to a certain extent as its quite mellow and not really made to be a pounder. but i think it could be a bit heavier without sacrificing the sound you are after. i think just its a bit clicky and lacks some power. But again, personal taste, synths, percs, all wicked. i like it i love monotone stuff like this. maybe thats what neotune means in this case nice stuff matey.

Posted by Dave-PL on Jul-12-2004 10:52:

The kick has a lack of punch and power. Percussion is nice, with all that little knispering sounds. Bass must be deeper.

Now the song is good on drive, but everything is to sweet and to soft. Melody is original but I don't like the sound, it's to nintendo like.

I would do some little synth effects in the mix. That would give the mix the smashing progressive climax.

Hi there mate ,
Been a while since i posted anything here.
Anyway, The whole track sounds very nice. The bass needs some work, its not deep enough if you know what i mean. Maybe it needs an additional layer with lower notes. Umm the kick is abit hollow or so, abit strange, but i guess its supposed to be that way. Other than that, very calmy track .

A gomez out!

Posted by M1cro5lave on Jul-12-2004 12:21:

Good quality, good synths, great sound.
I don't like the kicks that much (which probably has already been said a hundred times now), and the melody could use some variation. I got bored of this track before I had finished listen to it, maybe it's because you need to work some more on it and make it sound more interesting.
Percs sounds good, and there's nothing I want to complain about what goes for the rest, nice work!

It's nothing I would listen to again, not really my type of style, but it's very good for such a short time. Impressive

Posted by Jay M on Jul-12-2004 15:19:

Aye, thanks guys.

The 100% self made kick is the worst part again, that's clear

Nintendo sounds, yeh it's only a Fruity 3xosc . I noticed many older nintendo and computergame sounds infiltrate today's trance tracks, so i guess it ain't that bad

Keep m coming.

nice efx
bass is ok, as is the buildup
lead sounds good

don't like the kick
like mentioned before, it's getting boring towards the end.

This time I listenend to it, the kick is great. Don't worry about that! Plus the rest, it is amazing. I realise that I have already posted a response your tune but this time, let me tell you, your song has really got to me.

I can so 100% hear this song at a club, completely mashed and going nuts to the incredible sounds that you have created.

Excellent! I look forward to hearing the next incredible tune you come up with. Truly inspirational

Hehe thanks m8, probably next downloadable track is the C2C - Home remix of mine.

This kick does actually lack, but I'm not too concerned with that. I wanted this track to get more familiar with mastering and to create a full stereo sound in a short time.

@Dezma, djrenco: Thanks!

plus
Bassdrum is Perfect
I love the FX, they are great
percs are nice and clean
bass is cool

minus

conclusion
Very good production this I think, it really is progressive trance, I love the synth that u usem the effects are mint, and u got some cool percussive stuff in there, and again, the effects are freeking great.. and the percussion I love them.. totally my style this track, but I do think it needs to be fuller, i am not sure of what to point the finger at, maybe some other percussiom stuff, or something, maybe a bongo loop, not sure realy, but this was great.. really great.. the bass is good to, but I think u need more stereo percussion sounds to make this track perfect.. the synth is great too..

good work

8/10
