Wrong CPU Reading
Hi.
I have a Gigabyte K7 Triton GA - 7N400 L Motherboard, Ive put a Athlon XP 2800+ CUP and when i switch the computer on it detects it as Athlon XP 2200+ Weird
Motherboard
My Bios version has been updated From F5 To F10 and that still hasnt fixed the problem.
Can anyone help?

check ur front side bus settings.
Give more info please. How do i do this?
check ur fsb multiplier in the bios

Nice one, It works now.
I changed the FSB Frequency in the bios from 133mhz to 166mhz. Now its reading it at Athlon 2800+

I deleted some totaly off topic posts, please keep all off topic stuff away from FAQ forum and keep it in chill out.
I dont fancy overclocking it in case it fuckes up
