Posted by Frase on Jul-12-2004 00:30:

Yes very nice

How did you make that?

What programs etc you using?

Posted by KilldaDJ on Jul-12-2004 00:33:

fruityloops, a v station and my winamps compressor

its amazing how ppl underestimate the power of the v station.

Posted by Frase on Jul-12-2004 00:34:

Very good, all software is powerful as is synths if you know how to get the best out of them

Posted by KilldaDJ on Jul-12-2004 00:35:

i cheated also and added a pro 53 underneath for the bass

Posted by alanzo on Jul-12-2004 04:38:

yes. and my old amiga mod files nearly sound as good as my friend's JP8000. Really. It's the person behind and not the tool you use.

not really convincing...

it sounds alright, apart from the overwhelming amount of clipping:P

LOL @ this thread and all the others like it :

Listen to this great sound I made with basic synths and I'm not gonna tell you how I did it.

what more could you ask for

Posted by Swing on Jul-14-2004 21:45:

Is that 7 synths playing the same melody, or different melodies ?

Posted by alanzo on Jul-14-2004 21:57:

they're all playing the same thing.. but another fun thing to do is take a bass like synth and have it play just the rythmic undertone of the melody..

that airscape lesparanza sample from killdadj is pretty sick !

did you use v-station only or are there some fx involved??

Also, alonzo's sample is pretty awesome as well

Posted by J.L. on Jul-15-2004 07:31:

not really "PHAT", but here are some "dreamy" synths I made quite a while ago

well the v station was used for the melody and a pro53 for the rhythm, no extra effects were used.

however alanzo is right abt the rhymthm thing, it gives melodys a bit of depth, thickening up the entire sample

would you consider this one fat?
