The Official Night Before the Departure of Ninja_K Thread [07-23-04]

Intro: I will be in chicago Friday night 07-23-04 flying off Tokyo the next day to begin my new career as ALT on the JET Program.

Trying to plan something to do in the hours between 6 PM and say 6 AM the next day I might be bringing some friends from work down with me and I've sold them on the idea of PVD that night @ soundbar. but honestly I might be able to convince them otherwise to just go out and have a night on the town.

Or I also like the idea of a pre-pvd meetup for drinks then some of us mosy our way on over to soundbar.

anything *else* going on that night besides pvd?

i'm offering my apartment for pre-drinks and snacks before pvd. i'm not going to pvd, but you are all welcome to my place for pre-drinks. PM me for details (address, etc.)

I'm in for doing something in the evening hours, till around 9 or 10 most likely. I get off of work at 2 that day.

count me in for the activities. i'm heading up to pvd, so down for anything before midnite.

Hmm... still working the various angles.. but now it sounds like pre-drinks at casa de ctprincess but no PVD...

SoundBar? PvD?... ...crowded.

Good thing I did not buy a ticket to PVD yet then lol.

Cause I don't feel like spending 100 bucks at sound-bar next week.

Would rather spend money at Vision on Holden.

looks like its drinks at my place in lakeview/wrigleyville at 7 pm on friday the 23rd.

depending on what ppl want to do - smartbar is within walking distance and there are plenty of bars around my place as well

i won't be going to PVD, but i'd like to make it down for drinks/whatever... but since i'm going to Holden the next day it's kind of gonna depend on if i have a place to crash or not. kinda silly to make the drive down from Milwaukee twice, and especially considering if i'm drinking...

Just heard from Nick, he is in traffic on his way back to Milwaukee for tonight and won't be able to make it out it appears.

So I guess I will stay home and get some much needed sleep and see everyone tomorrow night at Vision.

there will be lots of partying to do when we both return to chicago next year!

good thing that I have other *reliable* friends - j/k some peeps left to go to empty bottle to see matthew dear and others left around midnight or so - everyone is conserving energy for holden, jay and mazi tonight.

seriously - good luck nick!! my friend that did the JET program loved it and had nothing but great things to say about her experience.

keep us updated on your adventures - when you have access to a computer!!!
