Markus Schulz

Is this man amazing or what!! I have been listening to some of his live sets and I must say his sound is truely unique and very very good. This slower meloncholy trance Markus Schulz plays IS NOT the usual boring , repetitive, and you need to be on drugs type I usually encounter.I can tell from his music selection that this man has a passion and interest in what he is doing. Lovely sets. Highly reccomend this dj to anyone who enjoys trance, progressive, and house. You will be pleasently surprised!! His sound progression remindes me of a bit of Nick Warren. Whatever happen to Nick anyways??

Anyone know his tour dates in North america I really would love to see him live.

I totally agree..

He has his own unique, refreshing style, quite ambient and progressive.

Glad he's making music for us.

he's got 2 albums already. American DJ: Phoenix, and Coldharbour Sessions. find the latter.

Markus Schulz is teh god. He really means a lot for the scene and the evolution of the music I believe, he has a unique style both as DJ and producer. His own productions and the hole GDJB-style is really awesome.

Posted by torontotrance on Jul-12-2004 14:42:

Markus is a nice guy, used to be a great dj but now he is pushing the same sound, same stuff, he needs to expand his dj horizons imo.

and arturo, it's OCTOBER

i wanna know what exactly u want him to do?

Posted by badK4rm4 on Jul-12-2004 15:58:

Unique, pleasing, and massively satisfying sound. None of this happy, repetative, overflowing with joy bs. Top 5 for sure. Keep it up!

I agree -- Markus is an awesome DJ -- love listening to Global DJ Broadcast.

I really like the style of tracks that he selects -- plus his remixes / reconstructions and productions are awesome too.

I don't think he needs to change -- I think he's unique enough with what he is currently doing.

he better come to atl

Posted by WhooCares on Jul-12-2004 22:22:

I like his chill style, i also agree with TTA though. he would attract more fans by doing so, but yeah his colharbour session rock!

Posted by torontotrance on Jul-12-2004 22:25:

actually I don't give a shit about more fans, I liked the old markus schulz (when he was less popular) because he played better records imo.

he's no longer 'below average prog'?
what happened, andy? you're getting soft on us.

Posted by torontotrance on Jul-12-2004 22:43:

What I think about his current style means nothing, and yes I view it as below avg prog at times, so I don't listen to it nor do I complain about it anymore. Markus makes enough money and has enough fans anyway, with or without my comments, lol, so I'll just go back to listening to the deejays that I like. Yes, I am getting too old to lambast deejays these days.

Markus is currently working on his artist album, Which should be in stores sometime by the end of the year.

good to hear!!

Posted by _-MIl0 on Jul-13-2004 00:56:

Thing about djs is that you think they release alot more albums then they do cuz theirs constantly new material out their about them. I mean think about it tiesto only actually has 2 artist albums which is really weird for a dj thats been voted number 1 for a couple years now

Posted by wwu.punisher on Jul-13-2004 01:09:

I liked five or six of the tracks on the Coldharbour release, but other than that it felt as though he was padding the album.
