Georgia TA's?

Hey everyone,

It's not 100% official yet, but I'm likely to be moving to Georgia sometime in early to mid August, and I was wondering if there were any or many Georgia TA's around?

I'm moving from Madison, Wisconsin to Savannah for a little while, likely taking a break from serious DJ'ing for a while, mainly focusing on working a "real job" for the first time in a few years and doing some serious production work sessions to get some more quality work out the door.

I'd love to mee up if anyone is in my area or within driving distance to any nearby events. Definitely would love to meet up with any producers too!

Looking forward to hearing from and meeting many of you!

L8R,
Mitch

ATL too busy for me. Lived there before.

I've gone clubbing in Savannah before. Lets just say that anything here in Atlanta blows Savannah's electronic scene away. Down there its mostly college students who go to SCAD and Georgia Southern who want to get rowdy and listen to crappy rap music. Besides, all the big names never (and probably never will) go to Savannah.

Agree. Visit Atlanta for major events, but don't live there.

thanx 4 the heads up!

I visited my sister there a few years ago, so I kinda have an idea what things are like, as it seems very much like my hometown in Fredericksburg, VA (and there is NO electronic scene there whatsoever). I was at least hoping that maybe there was a trancehead or two that I could meet up with to roadtrip to ATL or Jax/Orlando for some events.

Once I get down there I'll have a better idea what my time is going to be like, and whether or not I'm going to be hanging up my headphones for a while or not while I pursue some real work for the first time in a while (been DJ'ing full time for the past couple years).

Whatever the case may be, I'm looking forward to meeting up with some of ya'll soon!

lol, i hope you put your party hat on when you come to Georgia. the ATLTAs definitly know how to do it. I am not one of them, but they are all great people. Im sure we will bump into each other at a show sooner or later.

While I'd sure like to partyy and get all crazy, things are going to be pretty chill for me for a while. I'm probably not even going to really pursue getting some bookings like I did up here in the midwest, but I'm definitely going to hit up some parties in northern FLA and ATL whenever possible (likely after I get stable and get a new ride, as my Civic is probably on its last legs and may not make it much further than the trip from Wisco to Savannah).

I'll be checking things on here from time to time to see what's going on, so there's a good chance we might bump into each other.

will do! I probably won't get up for a bit since my car is on it's last legs, but I might rent a ride if Marco V should happen to come back there again.
