Be Cool! EQ Vst????

Can someone tell me a good EQ to use. I feel like i'm missing out with the FL one.. (free is good too)

Also when do you start eq'ing your sounds.. during the mix or after

geez...can't believe you asked this with the wealth of info in the sticky above.

A good free one is "Classic" Kjaerhaus EQ is actually very good! Find it at this amazing site for all types of VSTs.

Cheers!

i think the fruity one is just ok.. you should use multiple instances of it.. not just the 1..

as for when to eq.. i eq while i produce, then do a final tweek of thoes eq settings once i've done.. then do a final final tweek of the master rendered file

Sonalksis SV-517 is a very good sounding EQ (try out their compressor).

Elemental Audio Firium and Equium Eq's sound pretty good too.

And then the Eq's Voxengo make aren't that bad either.

But if you'd ask me, in native VST format, the Sonalksis plugs are about the best sounding you can get.
