Greatest fears

Ok, this started happening in Trancer85's "psychologically disturbing what if question?" but its a bit out of topic in there, so bring your fears here

I'll think of more later im sure, but my biggest fear atm would be

This reminds me of a TV show on a while back, about people who were FREAKED out about things like pigeons and baked beans. Anyone like that in here?

I remember when I was channel-flipping, I stopped on Maury I think, and they had people afraid of cotton, tin-foil, and balloons.

I'm not afraid of anything odd like that, but my general fears are of spiders and heights.

I can kinda understand someone being scared of ballons, since when they pop they make people jump, and for some, they really don't like that, but cotton, and tinfoil, I really dunno how, but maybe there is someone here that has a fear like this that can maybe explain why its so bad.

My fear, would probably be something like getting buried alive, I think I kinda have another though, I have had a couple bad dreams where I needed help and went to scream, but I had no voice, its not really a fear, but it wouldn't be nice.

just kinda a broad fear of the unknown, though i pretty much have control over it nowadays
back in the day walking in a several story mall would freak me out cause i could see there was like nothing directly under the floor i was on holding it up (although i knew it was probably architecturally sound), but still just the fear of falling would creep me out
bridges too
and fear of the dark too
just cause you can't tell whats more than a foot away from you, and i really like to be in charge of my surroundings

I have a few:

A woman doing what I swore would never happen and fucking up my relationship with my friends like what has happened to all them.

Not knowing what to do with my life: Mind, I have goals, go to Uni, Grad school, etc...but after that...get a 40 hour job and grind away? what a fucking waste. And then having that happen and being bitter and discontented until I die, because the world is as shitty as I think it might be.

Losing family members.

All of a sudden hating alcohol (not TOO worried, but shit...what would I do if it did )

Growing up and losing the passion for life I have right now...basically listen to that Irish Drinking song "Those were the days" or whatever its called. Also Cat Stevens' song about how he never had time for his son, then his son grew up to be just like that and never had time for him...Basically just getting so wrapped up in shit you forget about friends, family, a 100 mile drive every weekend becomes too much of a drive to see your friends...and they understand.

Losing my war with depression (having something happen to me where I cant work out or be active would probably kill me)

I dunno. Most of it deals with life progressing and falling into the cut and dry "heres how life happens" template that so many people just fall into and never realize...

I just smoked for 2 hours can you tell

Isolation...that freaks me out. Like being in some wilderness on my own, or in some rundown little villiage in the middle of no-where on my own (i blame x-files for that). Basically, if I'm gonna die i wan't someone else to die with me

This wouldn't matter much, as chances are you would break your neck in your way down so you wouldn't feel what comes afterwards probably.

Well obviously spiders go without saying I'm OK here on the 3rd floor but the house I used to live in attracted some proper beasts!

We ended up leaving the spider carcasses on the walls as a warning to any future invaders.
