my sister just graduated from johns hopkins. i visted her a lot there. very pretty place, but way too expensive. i mean, i went to school for five years for half of one year tuition at JHU and i got as good a job as anyone who graduated from hopkins could have gotten in my major. so is the debt really worth it? think about that when you are applying...

yeah it also kinda depends on what you want to do, isn't JHU like 1st in the country for med school? i know its way up there.

Why not stay in NY?

Posted by MaDDHatteR on Jul-14-2004 06:49:

I am currently at my 5..1/2 year at Rutgers University (double major dont ask!) Rutgers is pretty chill.. living conditions are nice.. and its close to NYC without having NYC prices on food and housing.. check it out maybe..

cause i plan on studying poli sci and international relations. DC is where all the political action is, so i figured that would be the best choice in terms of locale *shrug*

if u are planning to go into those fields..i think it'll be good to study in dc too..my friend graduated from george washington last year and she really liked that school.(i think her major was related to crimnal justice...?)
