Best Trance VA Compilation Album......

I wanna see what other people think about the Trance Compilations......
Which Album do you consider the better one.....??

I can say that IBIZA EUPHORIA was the compilation that really started me into Trance.... I think it's a great one and very relaxing too...

My favourite is Superstrings 2 - Magical Melodies of Trance.. beautiful chilled melodic trance tunes in it.. gotta love it

It's hard to say what the best one is. That's only because there are so many. One I'm pretty fond of would be Chris Fortier "Trance America". If I had to discribe it I would say that it's kind of dark and erotic.

As for artist, well, I like anything Bt or Paul Van Dyk

Trance Compilations

I have to agree Trance Nation 2 kicked ass. TN3 was also pretty good.
A great compilation in my opinion was Gatecrasher Discotech, the new one by Scott Bond-Discotech Generation isn't bad either, but nothing like Discotech it rocked.
On the last one I am going to go old school, this is probably one of the best put together and produced compilations, this was the definitive album that got me into trance: Tranceport. I have to admit back in the day Oakie was the shit...
Well thats my 2 cents anyways. I can't remember any other ones, although there are several others.

The Magik-series certainly is one of the best trance-series! Although I think the first 4 define trance @ it's best after that (too) much more compilations came which have sometimes the same content as the Magik's.....

id have to agree that the magik series is in many ways the best of trance

while many other compliations may seem more popular, the actuall quality of the music isnt there

you know youve heard a good set when you can listen to it over a long period of time and not grow tired of it

What I'm trying to say here is that any albums in these series are awesome.

I'd have to agree on the MAGIK series... and Magik 6 was IMO definitely the sickest one (in positive sense), since it was the release that got me really hooked up on trance music (all because of the "Silence" as one of the tracks played on it).

Also, the Euphoria compilations were good, Trance Nation was amazing too!

All their albums apart from National Anthemes are great, NA was kinda cheesy

Best one in my opinion is Discotech Generation

i have liked the trance nation series, and also been listening to the sensastions 2001 cd, but dj tiesto - revolution was good, there r a few good ones, and most are already listed

probly my favorite series is TECHNOCLUB, half of which are mixed by Talla 2XLC, and the other half are mixed by various other dj's like Taucher, Tom Wax, Dumonde, Tandu, Pulsedriver and more. its an awseome series, but noone ever talks about it, hmmmmm. check'em out! my fave is #3 (taucher joins mario de belis).

also i like the Gatecrasher series, the older ones are better imo, like red, black, wet (the "late set" of black is my fave one tho).

and Prototype is good (seb fontaine), but not really uplifting style.

Just started to listen to the new gatecrasher digital cd...

Hope it�s good....The tracklist seems fine......
