Jose Amnesia - The Eternal (Ibiza 2k4 Crew Mix)

I wrote this mix today for my friends who mean more than anything to me. Im going to Ibiza in 6 days now with a few of them, for two weeks, and it was a huge inspiration for this track. I may or may not extend this to a full track, right now its just meant to loop, and I still have some other tracks to finish up first.

I love this and I love Eternal...but dude, this sounds absolutely NOTHING like it. I didn't even catch a motif? You should just make it a full track and make it original. ITS GREAT!

Yo! Best work form you State Of Matter. Do you agree? Something was not right in the percussion area, reverb on snare or hats but if this is YOUR SIGNATURE element then don't let disturb. Nice remix! Really loved it.

Thanks for the comments guys. Im sad that this is my best work, cause I spent maybe 2 hours on it, haha, but I guess it can't be helped. I am using a whole new set of perc samples, eq settings, and synth presets that I've made though so maybe thats it.

As of now there is no full version because Im working on two other tracks at the moment for my demo. Ill let you guys know though. If I do a full mix I'll put the 192 up for download.

I guess the bassline could use some volume, and you might want to clear the highs up a bit. Other than that, really nice summer feel in this track, nice work. Have fun in Ibiza.

Thanks for the comments guys. Updated with a more prominent bassline. I dont really want it to be powerful as much as I want it to be subtle and relaxing so the bass isn't really ever going to be pumping.

I thought that overall it was a bit too loud and piercing.. especially seeing as you meant for it to be chilled sounding

Still once I turned my volume down on winamp... I've literally had it on loop for the past 30 mins and I'm still not bored of it. Sounds absolutely gorgeous, you've done the tune justice alright! Eagerly awaiting the final version

Sounds great! The more I listen tho, the more it seems there's some so very tiny off that if corrected would make it mint.

A few mentioned the bass, if you up that, maybe level out the kick or sharpen it so they don't mesh too much and become muddy. =)

I dunno wtf im talking about.

keep me posted when u find time to make the full, i realize u have other projects and obligations to fullfill first. have fun in ibiza!

Thanks for the comments everybody. As of now I can't promise that there will even be a full mix I have 2 or 3 other projects that are of higher priority right now. If I get a little free time though I will try and finish this, but it will most likely be after I return from Ibiza.
