Shaq to play for Miami Heat

I noticed, Nobody hasnt posted about this on this section, So I might as well anyways, At the stroke of midnight, Shaq could possibly be traded from the LA Lakers to play for my Miami Heat, This is pretty exciting news for us in south florida as we needed somebody big and with a lot of skills to help our team make it far into the NBA finals next season, What are your thoughts about this trade?

I remember when he was in orlando, we went to a couple of games
But not sure if this qualifies the team for finals if true the west still has more dominance imho.

Who cares about the west, They were only good cause of Shaq, Now the heat got him, And will be the hottest team in the NBA next season.

The downside is that the Heat lose possibly 4 of their best players and maybe even their future first round pic. Who is gonna feed shaq the ball if all their players are gone?

Shaq I think will like the East more though because he doesn't have to work as hard with their lack of centers. Its almost as though true centers are nonexistant in the east and this could lead to his dominance but with weak support players I can't see the heat as a contender.

GO HEAT

that whole "the west is best" thing dosnt really hold up anymore considering a east team won last year. Also one of the reasons the west was considered invisible was cause of Shaq.Yea The west has alot of good teams but thats their problem, the east champ should be able to handle any west team.

OK now the trade,I dunno what to think of it.We may have given up too much for shaq,I understand why Grant and Odom are leaving but Caron also?and a 1st rounder?Losing Caron is gonna hurt us in the long run,I mean Shaq is only gonna be here 2 or 3 years I bet and having shaq is not a given to win a title.Im skeptical,But yeah its cool to have shaq here,We havnt had a big superstar Pro since Dan Marino so itll be cool.Ive gone to alot of Heat games and last years team had a special somethin the crowd loved. lets see how this turns out.

Wow...Huge deal.
Good deal for miami.
Sure, Lamar Odum is becoming a spectacular player, but he'll never be nearly as dominant as Shaq. If Shaq stays healthy, Miami potentially could have a championship in a couple years. Not just due to Shaq, but the fact that a player of his stature will attract more affordable role players on the road to success.
I feel the winds shifting from west dominance to east again.

Dammit why can't my raptors get their shit together and build a team!

Shaq & Wade and "maybe" his Airness in the office.

i like the combo of wade and shaq to compliment each other but they still need some role players and a couple of other positions to fill in now.

Rasual Butler, i never heard of him, i just checked out there current roster, they have nobody left besides Wade and Eddie Jones (and of course now Shaq).

I think the Heat will benefit more than the Lakers. Since the Heat were shite last season, they can only improve (kiddin)

Its nice to see Kenyon Martin going to Denver, bangin' it up with my man Camby \o/

Anybody got any stories as to where Iverson is going? Didn't he want to leave Philly?

Smiley DJ

Heat are still 1 or 2 players away from the title, they need a power forward and a small forward, looking at the current roster they are out by the second round of the playoffs.

gotta agree that Shaq can only improve the Heat.

I still can't believe the Rockets traded Stevie Franchise to Orlando. I guess will see how T-Mac works out for us.

fuck Shaq.

Shaq puts Miami into title contention no doubt with Indy and Detroit in the east. Rest of the eastern conference is very weak though. West is so much deeper especially now that young big men have gone there again like Marting, Boozer, Okur and Odom in Shaq trade.

I don't think Heat will be contending for anything. As said, Heat have Shaq now, but they'll need more.

Lol, just noticed this, if you tilt your head to the left and read whats on the key, it spells "modo", or "Odom" backwards.

Something is telling me they'll be missing Lamar

Lakers will benefit in the long run forsure because they now have alot of young talent to play with kobe. Miami will be good but they are still not going to win it all. Go Lakers!
