Yep, it is my favourite track of Involver and I love the original mix as well.

I think that the original is far superior. Sasha's remix is missing the whole middle melody, which is the highlight of the track, for me.

It's pretty damn good. Not sure if I prefer it to the original, as I haven't really given Involver that many listens yet.

The main melody in "Burma" is taken from a song in the video game series called Silent Hill. Most of the music featured in this game has an ambient/atmospheric sound to it. I suggest you check it out if you like what you hear with "Burma".

You know, I heard this anecdotally before and wasn't sure what to make of it because I never played the game. I'm so suprised -- was the melody recreated, or sampled?

I'll have to listen to it again... thanks for this mention! Trivia is fun, and I like finding connections all over the place
