Oooooo lightning storms!!!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOOO LIGHTNING!!!!!

My favorite! Whenever it lightnings I make sure to wake up and watch the show! It so beautiful, loud and exciting. The closer the discharges to where I am the better. I love it!

Weeeeeee! And what a good show it's been tonight! KEEP IT COMMIN'!

Then I get sad when it stops. I want to see some more... The lightning slowly fades and with it my excitement and glee.

Lets all hope we get a crazy lightening storm tomorrow night too!!!

Man you should have seen the storms I saw as a kid out in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Saskatchewan! The storms here are weee little things compared to the storms out there.

i love thunder storms, the harder it rains the better. a few years ago when i was back home (botswana) there was a tropical cyclone that developed of the coast of mozambique and made its way inland;we got some heavy rain but by the time it reached it had lost most of its energy. i was really dissapointed, i was hoping to see some hardcore rain and lighting shows.

its sad though because alot of people in mozambique, southafrica and zimbabwe were left homeless and many people lost thier lives.

its funny how nature can be fascinating and so destructive at the same time.

At around 2:30am I was woken up by what seemed like the loudest crack of thunder I had ever heard. I swear it was right in my backyard. It was pretty cool (even though it scared the shit out of me).

gosh dayum.....there was some crazy fog that floated in off the lake and it got very very chilly around 7pm last night...i remember telling tully..were in for a storm tonight...but NO WAY did i expect that craziness....

good stuff...one more time tonight :P

I'm not too fond of lightning but I love thunder and heavy rain.. don't know why but I always have the best sleep during thunderstorms.
