Britney Spears- Breathe on Me (James Holden dub)
havn't heard the whole thing, just a 3:30 sample. but its a good song, anybody know if this song has been relased yet? i wana pikc it up this weekend.
Not out yet.
havent heard of that version but britneys original version of the song reminds me alot of kylie minogues confide in me
Havnt heard it yet, will give it a listen.
Why do all the famous djs / producersb try to remix some pop shit .
I think they should stop remixing the pop songs by Britney Spears , Madonna , etc. They have no meaning to Trance. Plus , their vocals suck , unlike Justina Suissa`s and Sarah Mchlahlan`s .Trance is a different genre of music , and I think these genres have nothing in common ,except for some occasional vocals.
romchik, please consider the following:
-Sarah McLachlan is sometimes classified under "pop"
-Madonna's "Ray of Light" is relevant to trance
-Above and Beyond, collaborators with Justine Suissa, remixed Madonna
-all of these genres are interconnected
-James Holden is James Holden. Don't expect bog prog from him.

Hey now, I wouldnt mind Britney breathing on me.
But I agree with Apostrophe, as unfortunate as that may be...
James Holden can do whatever the hell he wants and it'll be good

| Originally posted by apostrophe You can't compare Britney Spears' lyrics and songs with Sarah McLachlan. Sarah McLachlan's songs hold depth, and genuine emotion. Spears sings about boys, and banging them. I mean, can you really group these two together? I personally don't believe 'pop diva's' songs should be remixed by anyone. What's the point?? The trance I want to hear is not a part of America's pop stars. Notice I don't listen to them in my free time, why would i listen to a remix? |
thnx for holding up to my opinion.

I'm with the Walking discography slash chest-beating ape on this one.
If you like it, you like it.
Relax, it's music.
shut up, the remix rocks (the main mix)
it barely uses any vocals either, and they're fucked up in typical Holden manner

| Originally posted by GrimReaper For the actual remixing part, trance/prog/etc. producers are often requested to remix a track like what Above & Beyond did for "Madonna - What It Feels Like For A Girl" and not because they absolutely want to remix it. I guess some EDM producers are enjoying Britney and likes' music and then want to remix them too, i dunno. |

Of course there are some stupid poppers and their labels who hate about everything EDM related *cough* Avril *cough* and not allowing any remixes to be released officially. |
The vocals are used but her voice actually sounds good here for some reason, and goes well with the song. Even though I'm definitly not a fan of her vocal range... Holden did a damn good job.
