big or small? compared to nyc clubs? how many floors?

I'd say its a smaller venue but it can cram quite a large number of people. Two floors from what i could see at PVD. Also, a grandstand of sorts, kinda like a cheering section. The house in the middle of the dance floor i dun understand but its all good.

As a former employee of avalon id have to say it is a very nice club and holds about 2200 people comfortably. there are 2 vip rooms and the 2nd floor area is 1 of them. its not a very big 2nd floor so i wouldnt even waste my time up there. The dancefloor is pretty big and the sound system is very nice. It would be an even better club if management knew what they were doing, but oh well, enjoy

at avaland, the friday party at avalon and axis, the capacity is just over 3000. I think its the biggest on the east coast.
