Tech samples/percs

Does anyone know any decent sites where I can find some samples for a new tech trance type tune I am wanting to start?

Sorry, using the word 'tech' was a bit vauge. Something along the lines of Marco V, Marcel Woods,Chose & F's productions.

feed on sub rythms. delay time shift , pitch up pitch down on ever 2nd hundreth or a beat ,, this will give you the basic " claticly clat " on percussion , by scattering the sound to fill spaces that are to small to be filled manulay by input on a sequencer,

i think this is what you on about,

its a lot easyer to show rather than explain

Well, most max walder tunes don't use anything too crazy as far as perc samples go. Most of em are rather basic perc samples, just filtered to various freqs and layered, layered and layered again. You want to create a sort of "busy" sound, and that's achieved with samples that are differently filtered, panned, sequenced, and then layered atop of one another.

icic. thanks for the guidance. just trying to figure the sound. how do i do a filter on percussion if i had the waveform in the Cubase?

(Do not have site to load up the sample, sorry)

Put a filter effect on the insert fx channel for the audio, then filter away. There are plenty of filter fx although the ones that come standard with Cubase are quite average. Have a look at Antares Filter, it's pretty good. There is a demo on their site.

There are alot of more in the site. But I was wonderin the above was usable? Or I should try Waves Engima plugin since i had that.
