You can get cheap ones (like Hearos) at a drug store, but better yet...

See an audiologist (or any place that sells hearing aids) for professional musician earplugs that are molded to your ears. For me, they were around $180-200 a pair.

I'm not aware of music stores offering anything of the sort, but if you do find out about something, please do tell.

I use ear the plugs that I use when I go to the shooting range.

Most music stores have them, like Guitar Center. They have these really good ones for a dollar, the are foam and form-fitting. Cheap, but they do the trick. Havn't used them at yclubs yet, but I have used them when my band is jamming.

hmm not exactly why. i do go out a lot, and it was somewhat tolerable for sander and sasha (unless u were directly in front of a speaker). were u there for sasha? those truckhorn blasts were annoying the fuck outta me so that's one more reason for me to get plugs.

Posted by stevebutabi on Jul-16-2004 21:51:

yeah i was there for sasha, i thought the sound was better for him but i actually left before the truck horns

the sound for sander was HORRIBLE... really bad on the ears.

it's weird cause every other phazon system i've heard is so easy on the ears... i miss arc's system especially.

the sound tonight better not be too harsh because zabiela does that loud high pitch shit with his effects box all the time.

i actually tend to stay upstairs at crobar... the sound sucks on the dancefloor and honestly the crowd usually does too unless it's Sasha and Digweed or something huge. i'm worried that it's gonna be empty tonight because no one knows who the hell james zabiela is.

Ummm the site said not to remove them. All it said was:

Cleaning Your Earplugs

-Do not take earplugs apart; clean with damp cloth

-Use warm water and mild soap to remove dirt

-Do not use alcohol

yeah the funny thing is the packaging says (same design of earplugs)...

Remove the ear tip from the end cap and stem. The ear tip can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap.

hmm
