OMFG! speaking of real trance talents. thyve been producing since i dotn know when, but 2004 they have been putting out so many good productions and remixes. they define the true meaning of trance!!!
i just wana give credits for what they have contributed on the rtance scene. they're not changing their style, they still have the smae sound! very nice and unique. very trancey and melodic! that's what im talking about steve! amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

S Helstrip & co are the main influence for me atm, being on a production frenzy. They deserve every praise and acknowledgement they get. GO ON BRITISH TRANCE

Thrillseekers rock!

must say i agree, new productions from them are top notch and hopefully will continue to be!

It's hit or miss with me regarding Steve Helstrip. Tracks like Synaesthesia, Insigma - Open Your Eyes, and the remixes of Autumn Tactics and Saltwater 2003 are good. Most of the rest don't stand out to me.

Dreaming Of You does it for me. Emotional and not uber complicated. Synaesthesia, classic. Yeah, I'm hopping on the appreciation bandwagon.

Played a wicked and memorable set on last week'a GDJB.

i'm with you on this one...the Thrillseekers are good.

Under this alias, Steve has produced some of the most melancholic tunes that I can think of... his remix of Sholan - Can You Feel brings tears to my eyes. So, I'll jump on the bandwagon too. Thrillseekers r0x0rz.

Yeah, one of the few trance producers that deserve recognition in an era where trance is starting to wind down. The Thrillseekers have been, and always will be one of my favorite producers.
Personally, Sublime sealed the deal for me...when I first heard OF it, I couldn't wait to hear it, as it being a collab with Ferry, but then I totally forgot about it cuz no body mentioned it...then my friend played a rip for me after a few rips my self(hehehe...) and after that, it was over...I fell in love, and still am in love with Sublime.
BTW, did it ever get released?

yea props to them for some fine remixes and twas a great set on GDJB

Dancing Dude

I definitely concur on this producer. From Autumn Tactics to Synaesthesia, to Dreaming of You, and their remix of Sholan(previously mentioned). All quality work. The remix of Alibi - Eternity is not as stand out, but still good. I will always listen to a record with Thrillseeker's on it anywhere.

Posted by kreamy on Jul-21-2004 17:48:

His music is simply breathtaking if you ask me.

and yes that last gdjb was really something.

Posted by Snooper on Jul-21-2004 17:49:

I must agree that Thrillseekers is one of the most decent producers out there, even though I still feel the older stuff is the best.

BTW, Steve Helstrip is the only person behind this project, so it's "he" not "they". "The Thrillseekers" is just a name Steve came up with, it doesn't indicate that there are other people involved.

Some of his older productions are amazing, but I think he is recycling that sound to much these days. And as far as DJing is concerned he's very shit. But anyone with tracks like Synaesthesia and Open Our Eye's to their name gets a thumbs up from me.

01. Reflekt feat. Delline Bass - Need to be Loved

Anyone else notice the break of this track @ about 3:45 sounds just like 1 of the thomas newman tracks in above & beyonds essential mix, specifically Thomas Newman - "Reading Room"

Posted by IgnazZio on Jul-21-2004 20:15:

Yeah! Respect!
Autumn Tactics is really a bomb

I can't get enough of Synaesthesia. I still listen to it every once in a while.

Posted by NiteMer on Jul-21-2004 21:25:

I still play Synaesthesia once in a while just for nostalgia. I like playing at least one or two old school classics in a set. I really enjoy playing the tracks that most people know, but do not know the name of. They remember it and it brings back the memories, but they haven't downloaded it, because the name isn't always at the tip of their tongue.
