Whats your dosage?

About how many hours of trance, or other forms of edm would you say you listen to each day? Or, if if the amount changes too much day to day, how much would you guess you listen to in a week?

For me, id say about 3 hours a day, but the difference between summer break days, and school days is huge...

Oh and for you search button nazis, i wanted fresh opinions.

been listening to it for the past 6 hours stright.

each day usually clock up about 6 hours, some days it will be 9 or 10.

I turn it on when I get home from work at 6-ish and leave it on until I go to bed (1-ish on a good night).

So...6-7 hours a day?
Hmm. Maybe I should get a life.

Many. Mostly prog, breaks, and ye olde drum 'n' bass.

I don't listen music for regular hours every day.. my doses vary between 0-10hrs a day. Depends how much i have spare time.

Prob around 6-8 hours a day, but depends on the day n all.

Posted by goonerjack on Jul-21-2004 23:54:

it just depends what mood i'm in - sometimes i'll listen to 8 hours or so... some days (like today) i won't listen to any EDM

i listen to MUSIC all the damn time. definitely several hours.

Posted by DJ Rat 187 on Jul-23-2004 02:27:

I pretty much have it rolling all day in the back ground on my computer since I don't have a stereo, but sometimes when I'm at my friend's house he'll spin just about all day and then listen to music on the computer the rest of the time

Now that i think about it, it probably would be more interesting to find out how much music people listen to in general, and then what percentage of that music is EDM.

i would say it's on when i am @ home.

Posted by cryo on Jul-23-2004 05:37:

when i wake up i turn my pc on (if it isnt on already) and then just load up winamp and play songs... usually leave it on in the background like right now then when i got to sleep i turn on my CD player turn on sleep mode for about 60mins then fall asleep. so i'd say pretty much all the time.
if i had an ipod i would be part of my body and the headphones stuck in my ears

It depends greatly on my mood and the day. On average it is around 3 hours per day.

Posted by R.j. on Jul-23-2004 07:32:

only when i'm practicing my mixing which is wat? aboot 3 hours? everyday?

Posted by twisted on Jul-23-2004 08:59:

at least, at LEAST 7 - 8 hours
as soon as i wake up i put music on, if im taking a shit ill have a cd player with me, im going for a run, cd player, sometimes when i cant sleep, and usually i cant sleep till im really tired around 6 mabye, i just play chill. so its definatly an important part of my life..if i go anywere...gotta have the beats.....

i thought my 2-3 hours was already an addiction

Posted by wippet on Jul-23-2004 19:25:

I listen in every moment that I can.

From the time that I wake to the time that I go to sleep. My ears get rest when I dont controll the music or when I just CANT play music at all.

I love music, its the best invention made by men. (although i think aliens invented music! LOL)

lets make this easier: Id listen to EDM 24/7 I i could...!!!

more or less 6-10 hours per day (at home, in the car, at work, during excercise, grocery shopping, sometimes class.)
