what do you think of this crazy ass tracklist?

Skyscraper - Jabberwock (Comedown Version)
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Solar Stone Chillout Mix)
Accadia - Into the Dawn (Accadia Ambient Mix)
Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Ambient Dub)

i still have room for one more track. it needs to be gorgeous, and it can't have a real "beat". i want to be able to fall asleep to this. (or float on a drug induced ecstasy lol)

find biosphere, ulrich schnauss and namlook, that's CHILLOUT (using your definition).

the above are gorgeous synth-filled minimal ambient tracks filled with emotion....when you close your eyes and listen to these itll take you to ibiza

I always though they were ambient artists, but i have only heard a couple of songs.....and when there is no real 'beat', i guess the line become blurred between ambient and chillout.

Boards of Canada stuff maybe????

Chicane - No Ordinary Morning is brilliant if u can slot it in there somewehere.

yeah i know you're right TTA. i like Ulrich and biosphere but for different reasons.

i can't describe this style. i dunno, but there is a certain sound that im trying to capture with this cd. those beautiful padded, melodic chill out songs. the solar stone, accadia, matt darey sound.

no. biosphere and peter namlook are ambient. ulrich is more chilled-breaks.

biosphere is hmm..classic ambient (pioneered by the great h. budd and brian eno!) and drone ambient.

ps. dont reply with any of your elitest BS (no offence, but you do alot of it) cause i know my ambient more then most people trance
