What was your favourite song from your childhood?
Hey all.
Just wondering what song sticks in your mind that you loved as a child (10yrs old or less).
For some reason i can remember when i was about 6 i was singing the theme song to My girl. I loved that song hehe, little romantic from an early age
Jackson
Paul van Dyk-For an Angel
when i was 5 years old
Los Lobos - La bamba (2-4) years old
Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby (6-7 years old)
Diana King - Shy Guy (10 years old)
Coolio - Gangstas Paradise (10 years old)
Atlantic Ocean - Waterfalls
Elvis Presley - Jailhouse Rock
Michael Jackson - Man in the Mirror
I liked Vanilla Ice and some MC Hammer. I also remember hearing some Aphex Twin when I was younger too.
The Mortal Kombat Theme
L.A. Style - I'm Raving
Corona - Rhythm of the Night
Several eurodance tracks.
Dire Straits - Walk Of Life
I loved an Austrian Band called E.A.V. As a child I just thought they're very funny and they also looked like clowns. But in the last few years when I listened to their CDs again I realized, that their lyrics were very very ironic, sarcastic and social critic!
Well, I still like them...maybe even more then in my childhood.
Greets
Ovid
i don't really remember what my favorite song was...but i liked all that 70's eighties music hehehe
still do

I'll be interested in seeing if anyone knows that track.

Seal - Kiss From A Rose | Coolio - Gangster's Paradise | Pearl Jam - Jeremy | Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under The Bridge
... I remember before CD-R technology was invented... I would record songs from the radio via cassettes.. and listen to them on repeat for hours @ a time

Nang isilang ka sa mundong ito
Laking tuwa ng magulang mo
At ang kamay nila ang iyong ilaw
At ang Nanay at Tatay mo'y
Di malaman ang gagawin
Minamasdan pati pagtulog mo
At sa gabi'y napupuyat ang iyong Nanay
Sa pagtimpla ng gatas mo
At sa umaga nama'y kalong ka
Ng iyong amang tuwang-tuwa sa iyo
Ngayon nga ay malaki ka na
Nais mo'y maging malaya
Di man sila payag
Walang magagawa
Nalaman mong ika'y nagkamali
I used to go wild for the Village People.

that's my fav song back when i was a kid. now what the fuck is your problem.

daz what i thought
That song from Transformers, "The Touch", later used to great effect in Boogie Nights. You know how it goes:
"You got the touch... you got the power...... YEAHHHHHHHH!!!"
