okay here's the score , and you guys have probably heard this problem b4.

I have traktor on a demo version just now. I have my Pc and one soundcard a soundblaster. It has one out put socket.

I went to comet and bought a stereo to mono splitter, I plug the splitter into the output socket on the pc soundcard and then plug my headphones into one of the channels and the speakers into the other.

I start my trax going the crossfader works fine but when I listen to deck A through the speakers and then click on the headphones button for deck B both channels come through the speakers and both channels come through the headphones instead of one to each , what am I doing wrong , is it possible to set up speakers and headphones with one soundcard ( that isn't a soundblaster live ) ?
