Cool Rules Updated

So read them, any ammendments, rule discussion, share it in this thread!

The forum is generally a good place to exchange work & feedback at the minute, lots of new talent coming through as well as old hands so to speak such as Wim & John

How else can we improve the forum then?

No probs with the changes, it all makes sense

edit: could I suggest that people are discouraged from just posting links to a page with 20 of their tunes on, I think if you're making a thread it should be about a specific tune you want feedback on and not an advertisment for youself.

People can post links to their back catalouge in their sigs.

I dunno if that'll be a popular thing to say

Secondly, please don't just bump your own posts & whine.

To get responses it would be a wise idea to post in other people's threads and in return they will hopefully post in yours.

Does replying to comments & feedback count as bumping your own thread, or is that ok?

Thanks!

I think it refers more to the people who bump their threads with "C'mon, anyone?" etc.

a suggestion:
how bout having a rule making people write what genre is the track they posted?

i dont really know how to review trance music, since i dont have any idea on what to compare it to.
so basically, not writing what genre the track is leads me to the default assumption that its trance, and detters me from reviewing (and even just listening) to the new tracks.

what do you think?
