Does anyone else hate the Forbidden Paradise series?

I just think the whole series is garbage. Can't stand any of the eleven releases. Anyone else feel the same?

The whole point is that all of tijs compilations are different in the type of sound, the guy probably just dislikes this, or cos it's so old wasn't into it & can't get into it from about 10 mp3s or something of that 'style' so to call it shit is false as i said earlier

I think the Forbidden paradise compilations were one of the best. Probably better than the Magik compilations in my opinion.

Ok. Two big reasons that I don't like them, then...

1. Every single one of them sounds as though Alvin and The Chipmunks are about to bust out on vocals.

2. Several of them sound like techno.

Forbidden Paradise is just harder tahn all of Tiesto's other albums. It's more higher energy stuff, with a more defined beat than his other albums.

If you prefer more easy-on-the-ears, melodic stuff, you won't like it.

It's that simple.

I'm guessing that you don't like or wouldn't like Tiesto's Lost Treasures or Space Age series. Those are also pretty much techno oriented mixes as well. I've heard Space Age 1 and Lost Treasures 2 and both are excellent. Forbidden Paradise 7 is good, and Forbidden Paradise 3 is ok. I haven't heard the others to form an opinion on the entire series but I doubt I would hate them considering they are old Tiesto mixes.

The forbidden paradise series was different for the times. Back then "Classic Rave" was getting to be big. The first album was different, which i belive made it great.

It's not as though I was saying that Tiesto sucks or anything. Shit, no. He's one of my favorite producers. I just don't like the techno sound of the FP series.
