Good pick. I'd have to agree.

I'd also say that GU013 is "the best".

That Deepsky album is more than just trance, that's for sure

I think he asked for prog trance.

Listen to Sander K or Holden.

No if I thought it was a bad album, I would say:

It's a bad album.

What I mean is that there are elements of progressive trance in there, but other styles like drum 'n' bass and breaks and house and even the stutter-glitches more commonly found in IDM/braindance. So on the whole, it is of the "progressive" attitude.

"Let Me Live" is favored by many who like Hybrid's "Finished Symphony" and Chicane's "Empires".

Hmmm... for artist albums, this also comes to mind:

Most of my personal faves are a diversity of styles.

So true man.

Go to love that track "the masion world" with the DNB feel.

Yes, Sander has the house vocals, but check out his Nubreed, definitely a prog feel there.

Nubreed 4 CD2 has more of the progressive/prog trance at times influeced trip.

D:Fuse - Perfecto Presents People
Anthony Pappa - Nubreed 1
Kasey Taylor - Balance 002

Third vote for GU13. Definitely Sander K's discs. If you want a more progressive and housy feel with chill melodies try Hernan Cattaneo "Renaissance Masters". It is sick. Any Nick Warren Global Undergrounds. GU 19? Digweed - "live in LA". Definitely Transport 4. Tranceport 2 - Dave Ralph. Sasha and Digweed - Northern Exposures - Expeditions.

Posted by LesleyS on Jul-26-2004 21:17:

i forgot to mention Dave Ralph...

check out his Transport 2, Naturalized, and Resident Alien.

In my opinion Dave is one of the world's finest. He's been in this scene for a long time.

Cheers.
