Smoking ..umm..something My Impression

Greetings, i hope the following is helpful and constructive. good luck and post some more on your website ( i already d/l'd all three)!

1. Joakim Sande - Liberation
2. Solid Globe - North Pole (7:33)
3. Tisto - Walking On Clouds (13:15)
4. Rusch & Murray - Epic (Above & Beyond rmx) (18:25)
5. Signum feat. Anita Kelsey - Come Around Again (24:20)
6. Witness Of Wonder - Emotions In Motion (Thrillseekers rmx) (30:23)
7. Firewall - Sincere (Pulser rmx) (36:09)
8. The Rush - Sensation Anthem 2004 (43:12)
9. Max Walder - Crown (47:37)
10. Marcel Woods -Static State (Original Mix) (51:59)

Overall Impression-
Overall a good mix with great tracks and good mixing. The initial track starts off banging and is followed by great tracks leading up to a head- and foot-stomping conclusion. The mixing is a little off is some places but more than makes up for it in others. Keep up the good work!

Track Selection

Track 1 is excellent. It starts off with an excellent beat and progresses into a beautiful melody interlaced with head-bouncing beats. I hadn't heard this one yet.

Track 2 is a classic and needs no further elaboration.

Track 3 is sweet. It has great melodies and cool beats. Its nice that in that beats don't dominate the track leaving room for the excellecent melody and vocals.

Track 4: a classic

Track 5: beautiful and sweet with haunting vocals and an enchanting melody. A great track!

Track 6 - a classic with excellent beat and synth; a work of art

Track 7 - an inspirational foot stomper laced with synth, pauses, and beautiful strings. (A remix of a classic?).

Track 8 - a good head-banging track that makes me want to conquer the world like a long-haired viking (no offense intended my nordic friends). i thinks the mix should have ended here or have been followed by something like the first tracks.

Track 9 - this track is good but again, i think its out of place (unless your going for this effect). Its banging but no synth or strings.

Track 10 - this is a good hard track but again i think its out of place especially when juxtapositioned against tracks 1-7.

Mixing

Track 1 to Track 2 - The transition could be a little better. I think that the bpms on 1 are a little faster than on 2 and they offset each other a little.

Track 2 and Track 3 - this transition could be a lot better. The bpms are pretty much in sync but the vocals that begin at 12:38 and last until 13:00 are a little off and distracting. i don't know what if anything can be done about them.

Track 3 and Track 4 - an excellent transition that interlaces beats and melody; a great job.

Track 4 and Track 5 - an excellent transition that matches really great; also a great job.

Track 5 and Track 6 - could use a little improvement in beat and melody matching. Track 6 comes in strong at 30:23 but that part may be able to come in at around 29:27 when track 5 ends the strong vocals. As it is now, there are 56 seconds that are a little awkard.

Track 6 and 7 - a really good transition but sounds a little off between 35:38 and 35:55. I'm not sure why.

Track 7 and 8 - a great transition; a great match of meoly, synth amd beats. very good timing! good job!

Track 8 and 9 - a good transition between two somewhat different styles.

Track 9 and 10 - a really good transition ; the beats melt into one.

PS: I posted under 'bubble' earlier.

Thanks alot for the constructive feedback
The first song is from a guy here in sweden. He is not signed to any label yet, so I thought I would help a bit on the way and play some of his songs. Glad you liked pretty much all of the tracks. The reason why I went for some harder tracks at the end was to show that I can play (Or at least pretend that i can ) other styles.

I'm still working on my beatmatching, but I think I can handle it pretty good.

Thanks again, and I can tell you that I'm already working on a new mix
