Sweet! I've been personally slacking on buying my system the past two years b/c i don't think i would use it as much as i would like. But once i get the spare cash, im personally looking at buying a qsc rmx-1450 and a pair of turbosound TXD-081 loudspeakers.

Have fun w/ your new toys!

I bet that amp can handle 2 pairs of speakers too, since it can take as low as 2 ohms impedance. The load impedance drops when you put speakers in parallel.

I was messing with my home stereo and found you get much more "punch" or sound pressure level with 2 pairs of speakers - this is a little audio trick I read about somewhere.

Yeah the tech jobs definitely help. :-)

I have two JBL 18's. One is the MP418SP with the built in 1320w Crown amp and the other is the MP418SP which is the passive version. The Crowd amp in the MP418SP powers the MP418SP.

For mids and highs I use two of the Bose PAS. It's a 7 foot tall tower of speakers that will blow you mind. In fact they are so loud that the two 18's can't keep up with them. But then again for $1700US each they better sound amazing.

For monitors I have two of the JBL EON10 G2's. Nothing too special but I really love them.
