what to buy?

Hi guys. I'm writing because I need help making a decision. Firstly, here's my setup:

2x Numark TT-200
2x Stanton 520SK
1x Numark PPD-01
1x Sony MDRV700
a regular/crappy stereo sound system

Now I've got about $1000-$1100 American to spend on some stuff. I'm thinking about getting a couple of CDJ-800s for $500 each from Guitar Center using the handy price guarantee, but I'm also eyeballing the Event TR8XL which goes for $600. Also, I'm fairly happy with my turntables, so I don't think I'd go with Technics over some CDJs or other CD turntables. Feel free to give me your opinion, whether it's between the CDJ-800s or the TR8XLs, or something else instead.

Thanks for the advice.

err, the events are ref. monitors. i wouldnt put them through abuse that djing tends to put on speakers. whatever you tt's u decide on, make sure they are direct drive. careful with numark's mixers, i owned 2 in the past, and both experienced heavy channel and crossfader bleed after about 7 or 8 months of regular use.

To clarify - all the stuff that I listed under "my setup" I already have. Which means I have the Numark turntables and mixer and such. Also, I'm aware that the Events are reference monitors. However, the TR8XLs can go pretty loud and I wouldn't be using them as the main speakers for playing out to a crowd - more just for personal use or for personal monitors. If I were going to play to a crowd then I'd probably rent Mackie SRM450s or something as the main PA system.

*edit* Also, the TT-200s are direct drive, and the PPD-01 mixer is one of the "new breed" of stuff Numark is trying to put out in their partnership with Alesis (?) I think it is. Anyhow, I've had that stuff for the past ten months or so and they've worked fine.

sorry

if you got that much doe, then go for like, a dual cd deck, like the denon units. then you might can afford your monitors too

**and i wasnt ref. your ref. monitors as your main pa. doing that would be just plain ignorant, and sure to get you lynched.
