stealth bin mission
We had a major clear out of ex housemate�s crap that they had left behind over the weekend. Ending up with about 25 bin bags full, not to mention x3 mattresses, all manor of pieces of wood, a rusty bike and car parts.
As it was bin day today we decided it would be good to get them to take all the bin bags. Fearing that they would not the decision was made to partake in a stealth bin mission at around 10.00pm to deposit the bags that we could not fit in our bin into those of the surrounding houses.
Mission completed 10.15pm
Next mission to shop to get celebration ben and jerry�s.
The Result:
On our return from the shop we witnessed the 2 houses opposite returning the bin bags to the front of our house, 3 in total. I was shocked to say the least. Yes maybe a little cheeky to use their bin. However, I really thought they especially would appreciate to have the eye sore of the rubbish dump that became our front garden to be removed. Even more pissed off by the fact that the lady had already been sifting through the junk and taking bits home with her. I almost felt obliged to knock on her door on that time of night and ask for them back.
I think what the final straw for me was that they actually made me feel bad for trying to clean our street. And now have no wish to see my neighbours.
Are people really that precious about a bin and the use of it for their rubbish disposal only?

ive felt bad in the past even contemplating throwing a can into some1s green wheelie bin when there has been no sight of a proper bin incase someone is watching and takes great offence and comes out running to give me some verbal abuse and return my can 
hahaa thats a quality story 
tbf, for all they know you could be putting a bomb or dead body parts in their bin...

i think it is actually against the law to use someone elses bin without permission...
but yeah, bin there (get it? ), done that, got the t-shirt. only we were proffesional about it and took them on to the next street's bins to avoid repercussions, and dumped quite a few of them in the big spa bin at the end of the road!
moral of the story:
1) take them on to a different street, then if they remove the bags, you don't care as its not your street.
2) do it later than 10pm, wait until they are in bed (we did our covert mission at about 2am). that way they won't notice you doing it and won't know any different
illegal, thats dumb if so.
Well there is now a brand new empty script around the corner of our road,
we have the following for it
1xbike
2xschool chairs
2xdouble mattresses
1xsingle mattress
1xdesk
1xdouble bed base
1xbunch of flat wood
3xboxes of stuff
how unsubtle will we be now?
haha we had to do this twice this year at uni. one time with 60 bags! we werent quite as professional as jeff n his merry men, but we did do it at 4am while on pills which was amusing. and there were no repecussions, so yeah i reckon the timing is the key
skip wasnt empty when I walked past it at 5pm

A couple of days ago I was emptying one of the houses we've got up in Middlsbrough (coz we're doing them up), and we went to clear the junk from out garden into the big green bins they've got out the back, and someone had literally emptied their house into the alleyway at the back!! There was everything there, from beds to worktop surfaces, sheets, sofa's and loads of other crap. They'd put it all the way round the alley, blocking off about 10 people's back gate to the alley, lol!!
When you put your rubbish out on the street to be collected, it officially becomes property of the queen as soon as you leave it.
