Bass problems on 600

My djm 600 seems like it's on it's last legs. First of my effects unit seems to be dying.

But the main problem is that on the third channel, my bass control is fooked. When I say fooked, i mean that when you turn the bass right down it's still coming thru full on the monitor. When I push the bass knob down the bass cuts out, but if I take my finger off it then it comes back on full, it's as if there is a bad connection somewhere.

has anyone else experienced this?? or is it time to get myself a xone 92.

sounds like a loose connection to me

cant you just swap your TT over to another channel (4), obviously thats no use if its in use by a CDJ or something but i suspect your just looking for excuses to get the A&H 92

one time i played on a djm500 and didn't know that the pot on the bass was gone on this one channel. i was quite annoyed the rest of my set.

i have a djm500 at home and it's still working great for me after two years of owning it.

how old is your 600?

Not too sure tbh.

My brother has been dj'ing way longer than me. I started dj'ing on this and i've only been dj'ing for two years. So it's probably about 3 or 4 years old.

But it has been used nearly every single day and it is well travelled to various club nights my big brother ran.

sounds like its taken some hammer then!

it might be worth looking in to repairing it. even if you get your xone 92, it still might be worth repairing so you can sell the djm600 and get some money back off it.
