Events You Wish You Went To (2004)

Feb:SAT~07: Hernan Cattaneo @ The Guvernment

I've only seen Hernan once at System, and he was wicked. He's one of my favourite progressive deejays, and I heard that he dropped a crazy set at this party.

Feb:FRI~20: Luke Fair, Desyn Masiello, Steve Mack @ System Soundbar

Desyn Masiello & Luke Fair together would have been something to see. I really hope they have another event like this soon.

Feb:SAT~28: Scumfrog @ Boa-Redux

The Frog @ Boa. What more needs to be said? I was looking forward to this event for sooooooo long until I got really fucking sick, and just couldn't get out of bed to go.

Mar:SAT~13: John Digweed w/ Luke Fair @ Kool Haus

I had no excuse to miss this. I think I was "tired". I missed John Digweed because I was "tired"?! Argh. I heard this was one hell of a party too.

May:FRI~07: James Zabiela, Luke fair @ System

I LOVE Zabiela. I couldn't go because of school. Damn school, it ruins everything!

May:SAT~15: Sean Miller (Release Party)/ Chus & Cebelos @ Boa-Redux

I didn't even know Chus & Celabos were in the city until about a few weeks ago. Chunky, Dirty Tribal at it's best.

May:FRI~21: 1NT3RF3R3NC3 1 Year Anniversary @ System (Main Room)

I was in Newfoundland. This is probably the event that I'm the most pissed about missing.

I also missed The Streets a few times while they were here. I seem to always find out a week or two after their concert that they were in Toronto. :whip

I haven't *really* missed much. But there are a few that I had no excuse for missing.

What about you guys? What events has work, school and sickness prevented you from going to?

I'm with you on pretty much ALL of these with the exception of the 1st party...

I also would have liked to see Boy George... Just to say I saw THE Boy George... spinning... HOUSE!!!

AND I'M VERY PISSED ABOUT DESYN.... WTF WAS I THINKING

but not to worry Graham.. We'll see him in Montreal!!!!

that was the saddest for sure, even being cracked out after Boa people still made it.

If there's one event that I'm really upset about missing, its...the boat cruise.

My buddy and I were talking about it, but decided that it wouldn't be worth the price and all.

I wish I went to check out mauro at the kool haus in may. I was also dissapointed I missed the scumfrog at boa, but I heard it wasnt as good as his october set at system, which kicked ass. To bad you missed hernan at the guv, a lot of people didnt like that set at all, I thought it was unreal.

Only one party i regret missing...and i know i fucked up, when i didn't show up. Danny Tenaglia -- BOA -- 12 Hour marathon set... Nuff said. I'll continue living in shame till he returns to Toronto and lays it down.
