I got a flyer informing me that Godskitchen is going to Ikon (the old Exit) last night after this shit party I went to at Avalon. Figured someone would care over here.
yeah i saw a flyer for this toO...couldnt believe it. i thought it would continue at spirit..oh wells.
so its called ikon now?... did the place get any better???

From what I was told its the same just with another name... Personally I don't think any party regardless of who it is can go in there and do well... That place is just over the hill... It needs to be knocked down and rebuilt... lol

i dont know some guy has been dogging me left and right to be a promoter there. from what i know the place has changed, they re-renovated it back to the old Exit look, thank god after the shitty design Jonathan Peters gave it i would have never stepped foot near that club again (one floor and basically a good way to pass out if you dont like the heat), and from what the guy told me they are trying to bring back the olden days, they said alot of the original exit promoters and event organizers were there (hence God's Kitchen, and from what i remember the guy who brought tiesto)
Well from my experience Exit was never good... But who knows... might mean J00F will come to NYC regularly since he is a big part of Godskitchen... I think one of the biggest improvements that place needs overall is the soundsystem. Without a better soundsystem a party like Godskitchen is a waste.
how about just gettin rid of "ikon" aka Carbon, Exit, Exit�, Earth, 610, Black
That place is done and over with.... i mean that is where i basically started out but its def past its time.

exit was a great club... but the vibe in that place just made it a shithole. so much beef everywhere in that club.

Listen guys why don't you go to the promoters and talk too them or just email who friggen owns the place. I mean its seems like you guys in NY are screwed over and Arc was the last place with a good vibe. So just try and do something I mean there are a large number of you guys.

Funny how a party called "God's Kitchen" will be held in the area formally known as Hell's Kitchen....ok, captain obvious over and out...
lol... Exit had its potential but its crowd and those sewage leaking pipes were to much.. i think ikon will ruin the name "godskitchen" for the clubbers that dont know to much about it at least. these lame places djs, meanwhile as konijn stated you get djs like jon o' bir in the U.K. very sad. though i feel like showing up with my huge pink godskichen flag 03: year of the angel
