Terrorist Threat Alert in US of A
Surprise Surprise
Is this a conspiracy from Bush?
To maybe show himself as a great defender and to boost his election votes?
Every since I read a headline saying Osama bin Laden was an ex employee of the US government...
i had a feeling that Al-Quehida isnt an independent organization.
Also...dont these attacks seem to come at convienant times?
Whats ur opinion?

This image sums up all i have to say about the supposed war on terror and it's true objective.
Shaking Hands: Iraqi President Saddam Hussein greets Donald Rumsfeld, then special envoy of President Ronald Reagan, in Baghdad on December 20, 1983.

Everytime that moron, Bush chokes on a dounut they issue a terrorist threat to cover up the fact that the commander in chief is a friggin retard. The timing of these alerts are definately significant, but then again, for a nation that loves to keep its citizens on a high state of alert everytime a brown guy with a suspious bulge boards a plane, i'm hardly suprised.
It's probably blow over, like most of these alerts usually do...or maybe it won't...fact is, it's become a norm of the US Government to break the tedium of normal life by annoncing the presence of some foreign threat, just to give US voters something additional to think about. It's about time the rest of us stopped caring...or maybe that might be a mistake too. Hmmm, hasn't it been like 6 months since the US invaded a sovereign country ?
war on terror is a joke and is fought in the wrong way. tho i don't believe that bush has anything to do with al quaeda, but of course he uses it to his own advantage.
Bush sucks
I'm sad for the people who Died in the 911 bombings but Americans stick there nose in everyones business it's no wonder why there's so much terrorist attacks on US

I can't believe how many otherwise intelligent people turn into completely crackpots when the subject of Bush comes up.
Yes, he's not the greatest president of all time.
Yes, his economic policy and public speaking skills suck large.
Yes, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.
But a nationwide conspiracy? Faking terrorist threats to keep himself in office? Ok yeah, you really do have to be drunk or high to come up with that. One minute you're bashing Bush for how much of a moron he is, the next minute you're telling us he's capable of manipulating the entire American public into believing that foreign allies are really enemies la 1984.
Which is it, folks? Is he a moron or a diabolical genius? Ya can't have it both ways. He can't be a slobbering ape *and* a criminal mastermind.
It's far more likely that he's just a typical, right-wing, conservative, patriotic American who loves his country but isn't really too bright when it comes to planning a nation, or really when it comes to anything else. I give you that he's pretty dumb, but most of the U.S. presidents have been pretty dumb.
Be careful of the left media that will spin any story to make a Republican look bad. They did the same thing with Reagan. Take a look at Clinton's track record though and you'll see that he was no saint either, and yet he hardly came under any scrutiny by the media. And since the American media didn't pay much attention to him, the Canadian media didn't have any juicy stories to rip off.
It's sad how Canadians need to constantly feed their egos by bashing Bush and the USA. They're not perfect but neither are we, and the fact that we just voted in the same Liberal government that essentially turned us into America Jr. really should bring to light the fact that we don't pay nearly enough attention to our OWN politics.
I don't know if it's an inferiority complex or what, but I'll tell you this: the most refreshing thing about being down in the USA is that Canada suddenly becomes utterly insignificant. They really don't give a flying fuck about what's up north. And yet we here in Canada seem to talk about the USA non-stop. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a good thing to be educated in international politics but when I say educated I mean educated, not peddling fanatically strong opinions rooted in almost no fact whatsoever.
How many people here have studied the current political situation in the USA from NON-MEDIA sources? Let's hear it. There are new books and papers and essays coming out all the time from people who have done their homework - have any of you bothered to read them or do you just believe everything you hear from Bush-bashers?
Aaron- keep in mind that even if Bushis an idiot, he has HUNDREDS of people working below him that are fully capable of making up false terrorist threats, even if he is not. It's in their best interest to keep him looking good so they keep their positions in office as well.
I'm not sure if there is a conspiracy going on, but if there was, it could easily be planned by others in office. He can't do it all on his own- no president can.
Im no conspiracy theorist but i saw a video with extremely convincing evidence that the pentagon attack never even happened. Two hours of hair raisng facts. Far more eye opening than any michael moore film. Just because George Bush is dumb doesnt mean the people behind him are.

diginut...u got served!

Diginut...wow...your naivity is *almost* funny.
As Nat mentioned...it's not just BUSH running the show (if he's even running it at all, lol). There's a whole institution around him that is easily capable of manipulating the public. Do any of us have any access to the terrorist "chatter" and information that the U.S. gov't and various agencies do? NO! So when they issue an alert, the public has little other option than to believe them or not, based on what they tell us. We can't "look it up" ourselves, lol. If you actually think that there is ZERO chance that they'd use that to their advantage, well...I can't help ya then
The LIBERALS are turning us into America Jr.? Are you kidding me??? The Liberal gov't was RIPPED by opposition parties for not joining the "coalition of the willing", for example.
Recent Liberal PMs from Trudeau to Chretien to Martin have done the exact OPPOSITE of what you are suggesting...they have consistently and intentionally maintained a distance from the U.S. on various issues, which is a HUGE reason why I support them.
$50 says that there is a MAJOR threat, if not a foiled attack (or even a successful one) shortly before the election. I'm not suggesting the Bush administration will necessarily orchestrate it (not an attack, but a threat, sure) but they'll jump at the chance to reap the political rewards from it...either that or they "suddenly" capture Osama or someone high up. mark my words
I often wonder if we'd be so quick to slap down the Americans if something like that were ever to happen to us.
Oh wait, there were Canadians in those towers as well...
A lot of you really don't get it do you? "America Jr." doesn't have anything whatsoever to do with U.S. relations or U.S. policy. It's a phrase used to describe a country that looks a little bit like the USA, when you ignore the high taxes, low wages, high cost of living, weak currency, pathetic military, and downright ridiculous foreign and immigration policy. It's the sign of a supremely corrupt government and even some of my "Liberal" friends admit that it's starting to look "second-world' lately. You think we're so much better than the USA on the international front? Why don't you look up how many Canadian soldiers have gone on U.N. peacekeeping missions since the 1990s: ZERO.
Why don't you guys do something useful and dig up dirt on the Canadian Liberal government instead. Trust me on this one, there is lots and lots to uncover. Whatever mistakes Bush has made, I haven't heard any news to the effect that Americans feel he has lowered their quality of life.
As per the conspiracy, it doesn't matter whether you're taking about Bush or his "minions". It does not logically follow that someone is lying simply because it would be advantageous for them to lie. We usually look for something called *proof* when making such accusations, but I guess proof is irrelevant in the Michael Moore world of Bush Bashing, right?
who's slapping down Americans?
Disliking the Bush administration or American policies does not equal disliking Americans.
