It's okay, but I feel that with the sound of the rest of the track, the bassline and percs could use a little more.... umph or something. Something along the lines of a Marco V (Godd, Cafe Del Mar remix) bassline Not bad use of the traffic melody though!

Kick and subbass are nice, I like them. Percussion is ok with me. The synths are a bit thin. There isn't a real climax in it, no banging lead to make me go wild. Current lead is too soft. It does sound evil tho. It's just lackig a real hook.

thanks for your comments guys

Usually I like to alternate between a melodic type track and a more raw kinda type of sound...

I guess I was trying to learn how to make something interesting with simplistic melodies and leads and try to focus on more the percussion and atmosphere of the track...

I'll be sure to make my next track more bangin' and hard

just if you are wondering, I'm currently working on a Nickelson - Yin remix and a Chemical brothers - It began in Africa remix so we'll see how that goes

To me I felt it was hard enough... but if you guys want more umph, i can totally understand and will take that into consideration

I agree with the others. I think the track is mostly missing a hook or a climax. Other problems could be overlooked if you added either. Good job though.

well, I have to say, I'm digging it. It could use a hook yes... but I like how that adds to the evilness of it. it keeps going. anyway A+ from me, an good remix in my opinion.

thx freaq and fabio for listening... I didn't know how else it could have a hook like you guys said? since this is a remix...

Also, I think for the darker eviler kinda style that I did for this track, hooks aren't really the focus and etc...

But anyways, I know what you guys mean and will take it into consideration

Posted by wrzonance on Aug-04-2004 04:52:

totally, that's what i meant by at first i wanted something more. but then i was like "hey this is evil, this is how it's SUPPOSED to be"

dark ambient trance just makes you want to crawl into a hole, not many hooks in that stuff depending on what you listen to, this doesn't make me want to crawl into a hole YET, but damn... im impressed with the remixing skills,

most I can do is chop down britney spears songs for chearleading routines

just kidding

oh what a mint atmosphere.

bass is so cool, i would like to hear another bass sound, a scary original one.(not needed jsut would be cool)

1.37 that fx sounds to loud and to sharp for me.

great drive in this imo.

great strings those sweeping ones.

i didn't mind that it missed a hook, but what you coudl do is add an acid on the second part, or increase the perc and make it faster, so it becomes dark tech trance .

great job, i like this.

Ah man, sounds nice! Maybe the bassline is a bit simple, but the synth is nice.. All synths are nice. But the track could use more action.

I like that very high synth-sound.. That sounds cool. nice work

thanks darkone and massive for your comments (positive and negative constructive ones)

Glad to see some comments other than "I like this" or "this really sucks"

Kewlness background of track is average, bassline seems to be without power , and I can't search main melody. The track is too different from original mix.
Sorry
