Any UCF people in the mix?

I'll be starting at UCF this fall... any cool people in the area? I've been listening to techno/trance for a little while now, though am by no means an expert . Started to get into glowsticking this past year as well, wanted to see if there were any like-minded people in the area!

hey i posted a similar thread about me moving down to FSU this fall -- i'll meet up with u for any events in orlando, but other than that we'll be a few hours apart

hypo u got a lot of TAs that live around u and a couple that goto ucf so ur in luck.

Im at USF!!!

I go to UCF and so does Rachel. (RachUCF1001) There are a bunch of people who live around UCF though... Pat (breaknbeats) goes to Fullsail, James (ex-dj) lives right near UCF (well like 20 minutes), Ben (bshidoheat) lives somewhere in Orlando, and Phil (Vero) lives about 20-30 minutes away from UCF as well.

What's your major?

Good to hear. I am on my second year. Majoring in Computer Science.

Sometime during the fall, I will be spinning in front of Student Union. Props to Knightcast for this one. Don't forget to check that out.

Depends. Classes filled up already, I'm going to talk to my advisor and see if I can continue on this semester or if I have to wait till Spring again.

oh btw, if you haven't had it already, orientation SUCKS!! Glad I got that over with over a year ago.

Wow, so many replies! My major will be Aerospace Engineering. Looks a little intimidating to me but I love physics, etc so we'll see. I live around Dr. Phillips right now too. I'm moving over there, right down the street from the campus on Alafaya, in three weeks.

Lol, yeah I did the orientation and it did truly suck. "How to be successful" speakers etc

glowsticking.com is cool as well. That's where I used to chill and read a lot but never really got too active. My friends and I just mostly learned sticking in our own way.

Let me guess.... Jefferson Commons? I used to live on University, right next to Fullsail... a ten minute drive. My friend and I are going to be apartment hunting again on Tuesday I think... not sure where we're going to end up. I kind of want to live in the Commons, because there are so many students there. We'll see!

That's cool though, another Otown TA!

this 1 girl at my job is only down here for the summer and she is going back this month to ucf and my friend from high school is going there as well, shes been to bcc but first semester at ucf.

Nah.

When the classes will start, you will see occasionally someone playing in front of Student Union on the stage. Mostly rock and hip-hop though, however, I will change the trend.

Although you could try some stringing as well.

anyone know if there is anything going on in the Orlando/Tampa area over Labour Day weekend?

--> went to USF myself, just visiting the family in Orlando and I will need to get away from them for a while while I visit them.

hell yea, I lived at JC for 2 years when it was brand new, everyone on my floor knew each other we owned the place! those were the days...
I still know some peeps there so I'm over every now and then.

vicman - Paul Van Dyk @ Space is what's going on, if you can get to Miami that is

Actually my apartment is at the village at science drive. It's the same this as alafaya club right down the road basically. But we occasionally roll by JC to check out the weekend parties

im in DC right now, flying to tampa tomorrow. tampa has the ampitheatre and orlando has Icon. thats what known.
