My boss is 19 y.o.

I find it so inspiring that my boss is that young. I'm not sure of how she managed to buy an English Course at such early age (I guess she was helped by her parents or something), but she seems to be very responsible.

Anyone else's got a young boss?

i don't think that he was saying you were owned, but rather that people that are old and haven't made anything of themselves have younger bosses...its kinda shitty for those people.

im a 24yo Army Lieutenant,.... i will be in charge of many people older than me,... some in their 30's and have been in the Army for almost 20 years,.. and me only in 1 year as their boss

You'll be shit on til you make Captain, and even then. If you don't like to step on other people and take credit for thier work you're not going to go far.

My cousin is a Captain right now, and those were pretty much his words about being a Lt. I'm a SPC about to be SGT and was talking to him about being an officer and he was just explaining how he felt. I can pretty much tell you thats how it is for Lts depending on where they are and what type of unit they're with though. Nothing personal...

last summer I was 19 and the boss of a couple of people from 20 - 22, it was a ton of fun =)
there were a few times where I had to manage 10 - 15 people at a time and some of them were in their 30's. i felt bad but really liked doing it.
